Brian May and Roger Taylor took advantage of the talented Adam Lambert to demonstrate yet again that the legend of Queen is unbeatable. It was a packed stadium GEBA.

The arrival of Queen with Adam Lambert to Argentina had some parallels with that of 2008, which had a Paul Rodgers as accompanist. In both cases there was fundamentalists who would not hear the word "Queen" without Freddie Mercury , and especially uninformed journalism mocked the original members dared to bring another singer. Curious reaction of the offended people who knew ignore or insult to the original line.
But since that time, there was a demonstration test of prejudice, unknowns and other shortcomings. Brian May and Roger Taylor confirmed that Queen is more than a band. It's more than a few songs. And even that is something that exceeds Freddie Mercury and John Deacon . Los exceeds them. Queen is a way to make music, to feel it and interpret it. So its almost 70 years, both musicians could be on par with a youth and enhance it.
For some it was a pleasant surprise (most), others had faith. The truth is that Adam Lambert showed that his choice was amply justified. It has an impressive voice, fits much better to the repertoire of Queen that Rodgers (who also is a great singer, but other style) and showed personality and daring to occupy a place that no one can take, but with performances like he can give a temporary permit.
Almost did not miss any issue (although with so many hits, there will inevitably be absences). Some jewelry they knew to be on this tour (These Are The Days of our Lives, '39, Friends Will Be Friends, The Show Must Go On) they missed, but overran several of those unforgettable songs. Lambert's voice gave way to Somebody To Love, Killer Queen (with great acting), Do not Stop Me Now and a jewel like In The Laps of the Gods (Revisited).
But not only the voice of Lambert lives this union. Taylor was brilliant making a drum duel with his son and going to the front to sing his A Kind of Magic, besides making duo Under Pressure. He may had his moment in front with Love of my life, recreating those times where he did the same with Freddie. This time Freddie accompanied him on the screens at the end. There was also time for the inclusion of the words of love, the subject guitarist then composed of great experience visiting Argentina in 1981.
Another highest point, how could it be otherwise, was Bohemian Rhapsody. There I saw Lambert beginning and Freddie accompanied to the operatic part (although the musicians playing, but May's solo was so perfect that seemed engraved). After the operatic part (which always took playback, given its complexity), they came back and rocked as it should, until the lock again Mercury whispering "Anyway the wind blows." Its theme, could only be closed by him.
There will be those who continue listening to old records and to whom, or fans of Queen , they will mock any move to use the name "Queen" and get some revenue. On Friday people from three different generations were, chanting and vibrate to topics that have no expiration date. That does not disappear even with 24 years of absence from his voice, or the removal of that prodigious low. The aura that surrounds the myth of Queen transforms everything it touches. So May and Taylor will hold their 68 and 66 years giving a show that few can dream at that age. So Lambert spread from songs that did not, but they use it as a channel. The legend, the myth, when none of us will continue to exist. It's a kind of magic.

Adam Lambert, the artist who revived Queen
"I'm a lucky guy," says Adam Lambert before a full GEBA stadium, after an initial triad of classics like "One Vision", "Another One Bites The Dust" and "Fat Bottomed Girls".
The American singer emerged from American Idol tonight has the difficult task of voicing Queen songs in his fourth landing on Argentine soil. But Lambert, a histrionic and high-impact mobile scenic boy, seems to weigh the challenge. "All this I owe to him," he says. "Freddie's celebrate together!"
With the legendary duo of Roger Taylor and Brian May by pressing revive the mystique of the group, enhancing its characteristic features among choral arrangements, curlers battery and fast guitar solos that still sound sophisticated and conmovedores-, Lambert drag the Queen into work the twenty-first century, as if now those songs will be part of an episode of Glee: away from Mercury and look invoke emotion, singer overreact and customize the performances of skilled and grotesque, as in "Killer Queen", where he sings lying on armchair golden era with a fan shaking hand as a whimsical diva, while the stage is transformed into a large plate crossed by lights and lasers.
But when Roger Taylor faces the audience to sing "A Kind of Magic", seconded by his son Rufus in battery- or when Brian May assumes command of the show, sitting on the bridge that crosses the field and wielding an electric-guitar The classic English band magnetism of low inevitably. "Many years have passed since the first time ..." says May with nostalgic tone, before singing the beginning of "Love of My Life" and relive the burning core of desperate love that song. It is a hymn that flies over the stadium chorus until the imposing figure of Freddie Mercury bursts from the screen to take on the last verse of the song and transpolar time for a moment.

Adam Lambert and Queen Take Brazil by Storm with their ‘Ghost Town’ Performance!
Posted By: Faramarz Hedayati Posted date: September 27, 2015
For the first time, “American Idol” alum Adam Lambert and legendary rock band Queen performed the singer’s latest single “Ghost Town” in Sao Paulo, Brazil, turning the stage into an arena for the ultimate head-banging event.
During the stop at the famed Rock in Rio Festival on September 17, Queen and Lambert, collectively known as Q+AL, has taken Sao Paolo by storm as part of their Queen + Adam Lambert World Tour as well as the opening night of the traditional Brazilian music festival.
Their performance of the aptly-titled “Ghost Town” proved to be an anthem for those who are into clubbing and partying. Lambert, who sported an all-leather suit, performed with the famed band at the festival’s 30th anniversary alongside performers like the One Republic and The Script, Just Jared reports.
According to Rolling Stone, the performance opened with Lambert smoothly serenading the audience over Brian May’s strumming and Roger Taylor’s light drumming, but when the original tune drops, May did the honor of unleashing the guitars in a barrage of stirring grooves.
The gig also served as the kick-off date for the Queen + Adam Lambert South American Tour. It includes two more Brazilian tour dates followed by plenty more in Argentina and Chile. Their stop in Santiago, Chile by the end of this month will mark the end of the Q+AL World Tour.
The original version and the live version of “Ghost Town” obviously have many differences with May delivering a lot of guitar additions during their Sao Paolo act. However, the new arrangement neither felt forced or awkward. Instead, it made fans love both versions equally.
Lambert even shared a video of himself performing his single with the rock band. On his Instagram, Adam shared an impressive photo of the crowd during Friday’s music festival jokingly captioning the photo that the 80,000 people gathered to watch them was no big deal.
The 33-year-old singer is currently serving as the front man for the Queen on the band’s tour of South America replacing the band’s original lead singer, Freddie Mercury, who succumbed to AIDS in 1991.
The Queen + Adam Lambert World Tour is a collaboration between the active members of the British band — May and Taylor — and the “For Your Entertainment” singer. The collaboration did not include the band’s original bassist, John Deacon, who has declined involvement with the project due to his retirement in 1997.
They began performing occasionally in 2011 which led to a European tour in 2012 that then led to a full-blown world tour in 2014. Queen + Adam Lambert World Tour is the band’s first long-term project since the Queen + Paul Rodgers project which concluded in 2009.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about his involvement with the Queen duo, Lambert says that he gets along really well with Brian and Roger. More than that, they trust and support each other too especially with how they create music together.
Tagging along the trio on their world tour are professional keyboardist Spike Edney, bassist Neil Fairclough, and percussionist Rufus Tiger Taylor, Roger Taylor’s son.
Despite the year they have spent touring on many continents, there are no current plans to release a studio album yet. Although the British duo have long stated that there is a huge possibility for the group recording a new material.

Amid what can be considered as the ultimate gig for Adam, he has remained fully committed to his solo career. Last June, the “American Idol” Season 8 runner-up released his third studio album titled “The Original High” in which one of the tracks includes “Ghost Town.”
“The Original High” marks Lambert’s first album release since leaving his previous record label, RCS records. His last album, “Trespassing” was released back in 2012. Upon its release, it debuted at No. 3 in the revamped Billboard Top 200.

The reality that Adam is coming to Cleveland is just starting to sink in!! ETA: It almost makes up for me not being able to go to South America. :( I'm so sad! I'd love to go but my family would think I'm nuts if I came in for that and then came back 2 weeks later. They know I'm crazy though...I could always get a hotel downtown and they would never know I was there... My family now knows I am nuts and they are OK with it. I was surprised. You could just sneak in and not tell your family you are here.
