Taxidermy still uses a formerly living animal- they may not have been killed for this specific purpose, but they did die and that's all I'm saying on this subject. Back to more uplifting Adam subjects! I feel the same about animals killed and stuffed. Or killing animals for sport in general. But I will go with shosh saying it wasn't real. I can't imagine Adam holding still for a real animal in the shoot and then facing Dr. Bri.. I still will not post it to my FB as I have friends at the San Diego Zoo and they still would pound me! LOL. I respectfully disagree about the Dr. Bri part. I can't imagine Adam having any problem whatsoever if Mitsy was formerly alive. Adam's house is decorated with various dead animals......he wears dead animal shoes and clothes. I'm sure Adam respects Dr. Bri's views....but Adam likes what Adam likes. But Grandduchess....I agree I wouldn't post that on my FB if I were you.  |

The shower shot is a keeper. Taxidermy, not so much for me..  Strange photoshoot. ETA: Oh, the head isn't real. It still looks like taxidermy and believe me, I live in 'head' country. Just not my thing. Some very intriguing angle shots etc in this photoshoot, but I'm out on this one. |

He's confident in anything he does and in his talent and he shows all the time what he can do with his strong voice the best example are the shows with Queen. Trophy hunting gives taxidermy a bad name. Not all animals that are stuffed have been "killed". Roy Rodgers famous horse Trigger was stuffed but he died a natural death. Just because a wild animal is stuffed doesn't automatically mean it was "killed". Captive wild animals who die may end up stuffed. There is an industry for taxidermy of pets as well as freeze drying. Also just because something is "killed" and then stuffed doesn't mean the purpose for killing it was just for the trophy. I have no problem with people who hunt and make use of the kills for food or are hunting to remove a dangerous animal. Relocation isn't always an option. The problem with trophy hunting is that is all about that display rather than the display happening as a adjunct to the original purpose. I haven't read up on the history but I believe taxidermy started out as a way to honor the animals that were hunted not as a reason for outright slaughter. Am I suffering from "false memory syndrome" because I seem to have some recollection of Adam talking in an interview about having some kind of stuffed animal in his home - and I also feel as though I've seen an Instagram of it?
