I have a feeling the winner will be decided by the time of day they decide to end this. i haven't been too scientific about it but it does seem that Adam gets many more votes than Morten, during our night (UK) here.... I.e. when America is awake. And when Europe is awake, Morten does much better... so ideally, we have to hope it finishes at about 8 am UK time ! (edit: and glad Freaky is safe...who else is going to have the last word on threads?) Maybe it is wishful thinking but Adam is still ahead. Wasn't he behind this time of time yesterday and we were frantically trying to get him out in front again or was that later in the day? If he is ahead now, maybe tonight we can push him really further ahead and have less of gap tomorrow if this interminable thing doesn't end by then  |

Since it is fairly slow today, I have a question I have wondered about for some time. Certain posts of Instagram photos allow me to copy them and some don't. Just today for ex. the 2 that pi posted on p. 2 from Jovan and Terrance from the birthday party would not let me do my usual way of saving Instagrams...which has been to right click on the photo which brings up a box of options one of which is 'view background image'. Then I right click on that and it brings up the photo and I am able to right click and copy it. Then I have to hit the back arrow at the top of the screen to get back to the Atop page. This is a long way to copy something, but is the only way I have discovered to save photos I want which I then paste into a draft. Later today on p. 5 bamafan posted the Instagram from Adam of the same photo, and this time the 'view background image' option was not grayed out and so therefore I was able to copy it. I know this isn't very important, but I have always wondered why there is a difference in posted Instagram photos regarding this. At least the ones that don't 'work' for me save me time since I don't have the option to save them!  |

I have just started using this site to do it: www.dinsta.com/At Adamtopia I right click on the name of account (at top left of photo)...such as adamlambert...and open in new tab. Then I find the pic at his account, click on the pic, then copy paste that link into dinsta.com and hit GO. Then when pic displays I can right click and save. Kind of a lot to get a pic, but only way I know how. I don't have an instagram account myself. |

Yeah, it was a bit nasty but we're ok and the cat is happy enough now, thankyou....Voting like crazy on this poll thing. I never realised Morten was so popular! I never heard of Morten before...He's good, but I think Adam has the better voice and really deserves to win... Interestingly enough, Morten is one of the voices most heard around my home. In fact, A-ha's previous album "Foot Of the Mountain" is one of my top 3 complete albums where I cannot skip a song. Morten in the studio sounds very silky-smooth and soothing. Not to toot my horn, but I just became a father 3 days ago, and yesterday my newborn daughter spent the night listening to a Morten mix (both solo and A-ha records) on loop for the whole night as we had one of those early crying periods "Giving Up The Ghost" from the latest A-ha album turned out to be her favorite. I have not tested Adam on her yet, will report when the time comes! That being said, that poll is about LIVE singing at RiR, and there is no question in my mind who the better singers is... |
