Kryptoman - I add my congratulations on the arrival of this new little daughter! If she is calmed or somehow soothed by "Foot of the Mountain" - it's the best recommendation I could receive! I've been voting Adam all day; have no idea who Morten is; but, just ordered A-ha "Foot of the Mountain" from Amazon. Thanks! I've no idea what I'll hear; but if it makes a little girl happy, I'm in!  |

Wow. After the surrealism of Mitsy and Co., I was not expecting such a traditional picture. But, how gorgeous is that! And not a color we have seen on Adam yet. Maybe a bit with BTIKM, but it was a different shade. Love those freckles. Not sure that I like that soonish thing, though....wonder what it might mean, exactly. Anyhow, voting, voting, voting, and seems like we are barely holding or even losing a tenth of a point here and there in that RIR contest. Been voting throughout the day, whenever I had a few moments, but 51.1 % is not much of a lead. We need to build that out over the next few hours. Hope, this ends soon, I'm tired of it, but do want Adam to win, so on we go.  ETA: Congratualations Kryptoman, hoping you can find a reasonable nights rest tonight! And to folks in South Carolina, Southern France, and other places, please stay safe and preferably dry. |

Since it is fairly slow today, I have a question I have wondered about for some time. Certain posts of Instagram photos allow me to copy them and some don't. Just today for ex. the 2 that pi posted on p. 2 from Jovan and Terrance from the birthday party would not let me do my usual way of saving Instagrams...which has been to right click on the photo which brings up a box of options one of which is 'view background image'. Then I right click on that and it brings up the photo and I am able to right click and copy it. Then I have to hit the back arrow at the top of the screen to get back to the Atop page. This is a long way to copy something, but is the only way I have discovered to save photos I want which I then paste into a draft. Later today on p. 5 bamafan posted the Instagram from Adam of the same photo, and this time the 'view background image' option was not grayed out and so therefore I was able to copy it. I know this isn't very important, but I have always wondered why there is a difference in posted Instagram photos regarding this. At least the ones that don't 'work' for me save me time since I don't have the option to save them!  I am not able to download most intagram photos either. I have just started using this site to do it: www.dinsta.com/At Adamtopia I right click on the name of account (at top left of photo)...such as adamlambert...and open in new tab. Then I find the pic at his account, click on the pic, then copy paste that link into dinsta.com and hit GO. Then when pic displays I can right click and save. Kind of a lot to get a pic, but only way I know how. I don't have an instagram account myself. Thanks for your reply stardustglamour. I just came back to the computer and saw it. I will try your suggestion! I don't have an Instagram account either. I don't know if there are different methods members here use to post Instagrams that cause some of them to 'work' while others do not. It's all a big mystery to me as I am totally low tec! Just came to your solution jablea....will try that also. |
