Not sure why some twitterers who were complaining about IIHY as last song didn't see the logic of it, especially it's reference to New York. Oh well. He gave an amazing performance and the band played so professionally and in sync. Ahh me being one...haha IIHY was my favorite song from that era... and so I understand that when people go to concerts and are waiting for their favorite song or a favorite to be sung, and the singer changes it up (considerably changed)...it leaves one... ie. me... just a bit deflated. I remember a comment from a fellow or fellows who loved a song of Adam's and and low and behold, he cut it out of ---the one concert they attended. They were a tad disappointed.Adam cannot please us all...all the time Just commenting ' cause I thought it was not the strongest last impression left for non fans who do not know his music. I did not even think about the New York context in the song.......maybe???!!! I loved it during the FYE era, especially with the dancers. I also think that because Max Martin and Shellback produced it, he feels some obligation or gratitude, to continue to perform it during the TOH era.
