From the radio concerts Adam is doing, it really seems that WB is promoting the song on HAC. I was sorry not to see Adam included in the iHeart Jingle Balls, that would have been a great opportunity to expand his audience, but maybe HAC is the focus. Certainly Andy Grammer, who is included in this latest announcement, had one of the biggest songs on radio this past year, both Top40 and HAC. The promo events Adam is doing during the holidays are payback for "Ghost Town" airplay, not for ALN. WB will be promoting ALN to Top 40 and HAC -- just look at the websites iHR has it on. It is on all the Top 40 stations -- for example Z100 www.z100.com/main.htmlI am certain that if Adam's team wanted him to be in this Jingle Ball tour, he would have been. But he probably would not have been a headliner since Jingle Balls target tweens and teens -- not Adam's audience. It is basically promo for the radio stations and a way for the stations to make money. The artists do it as a way to legally "pay" for radio airplay. ** So far Adam's 2015 radio promo events are split between Top 40 and HAC stations -- mostly Top 40. Thanks Q3! ALN is a great song and I think will do well on both.  |

Anyhow, back to Adam. I like the rollout via i-heart as an idea, but do not understand why the individual radio pages do not link to this video yet. My local iheart station is and has always been very supportive of Adam ( www.b104.com/main.html ), but they have nothing on their page. It is in the rolling banner on the home page...click to the article and video. I expect it is on all or nearly all iHeart station homepages. |

KISS FM Seattle has the article and music video (at the bottom) of their page. I have not heard them play Adam since WWFM (and that was in very short duration/limited play) so just because his video and the IHeart article is posted on an IHeart station does not mean they are going to even acknowledge its existence.
I am going to keep playing it from their homepage just to let them know someone out there is interested in this artist and not the repetitive dreck they have on most of the day.

ALN is a great song and I think will do well on both. Hard to tell what will happen with radio airplay. I fell very optimistic about ALN -- particularly on HAC. It is more suited to the HAC audience than GT was. And it is a pure pop song -- with a bit of an emo edge -- right were WWFM and MW were. Should be a hit, deserves to be a hit on Pop and HAC. HAC targets women 25 - 49 or 55. And ALN and that video is definitely on the mark for adult women. **** Clearly WB has this one teed up to be aggressively pushed to radio. They do not have the premier of the MV on iHR stations without some radio airplay deal. I feel very optomistic. {Planets are aligned!! Planets are aligned!! Fingers crossed.} |

I am so excited and happy about Adam's new mv. I love everything about him and everything he's done, tbh, but to me this mv represents him so perfectly because he looks and sounds out of this world singing, and the stories are all about connection and how that universal longing for connection should enable us all to relate to and be kind to each other. I love the looks Adam gives to his audience members as individuals, the fun he has dancing with them, even his patience at the stares. I just think that is truly him. And I love the absolute sweetness Gigi conveys, happy for the couple who finds love while she waits for hers. Come to think of it, I think each character is showcasing a quality I love in Adam: Gigi's sweetness, club dancer's sexiness, showgirl's throw-back kind of classy-ness. The honesty, the light touch, the sexiness, the fact that Adam is the Las Vegas lounge singer (a "future" I have literally seen haters predict for him) is all SOO perfect and clever, to me. Even the way the other characters are given the spot-light to shine bright, and I think each of them really, really do is so Like Adam to me, who loves team-work. And the puppy dog/crotch shot - seksai and sweet. That is also so Adam to me. Ok, I'm done - just really wanted to express how much I LOVE this mv.

Now this is a random post from me,but I want to share with you,what my mum just said to me.
She came to my room and asked me why I didin't call her to watch the MV to her favorite song(ALN). And then she mentioned,that it's the most beautiful song from Adam she ever heard and she can't get enogh of Adam's voice. She also told me,that when she have heard ALN at Eska Music Awards she had tears in her eyes and mentioned once again,that Adam has an amazing voice,which gave her serious shivers.

Good morning.  I love the ALN music video. It hits at the heart of what we all experience at sometime in our lives....feelings of loneliness and disillusionment. Nice to see a pop video have some substance and meaning behind it. 'Keeping it real' is such an amazing strength Adam seems to always display in both his private and artistic life. Excellent video in my opinion.
