This is sweet....FB post from the MV Director Luke Guilford. www.facebook.com/AdamLambertFanClub/posts/10153267762094091Luke Gilford 1 hr · Edited · Several years ago I went to a Halloween party with some friends in LA, and there was a guy I'd never met before named Adam. I had no idea who he was but he seemed pretty funny and sweet. When we went out later that night, people were continuously coming up to him and asking if he was Adam Lambert. Because it was Halloween, he kept saying "no, I'm dressed up as Adam Lambert". I knew his name was Adam though, so I thought the whole thing was really confusing and funny. Since then, I've met a lot more entertainers, both famous and not, and most of them seem to have something in common. They receive this *amazing* energy high on stage, but when the curtain comes down, there can be an incredible sense of alienation too. When Adam said he was working with the legendary producer #MaxMartin on his new album, I was so excited for what they'd make together. After hearing #AnotherLonelyNight, I immediately thought of that night on Halloween with Adam years ago. When Adam asked me to direct the video, I suggested that we go to Las Vegas - the most lonely city in the world. We cast real entertainers there and heard their stories (except when the wedding chapel lady wouldn't let us shoot her, the incredible Gigi Gorgeous stepped in to give a really moving performance as her instead ). Thank you @tjparish Celina Nightengale Gigi and most of all Adam Lambert for trusting me with this vision and thank you everyone on our fearless production crew! This was such an adventure - check it out now on YouTube and Vevo heart emoticon Jennifer Heath Jack Hogan heart emoticon

youtu.be/WG7m0fyjoA0This was embedded in the Popcrush article about ALN video. How did I miss it? Adam is now officially a "trained opera singer". The game of telephone is in full swing!
I love these quick facts things. Of course we Glamberts know this stuff backwards and forwards. It's funny about the opera training thing. Adam rather downplays it when he is asked. I think he got some opera instruction at some point, but I'm not so sure he'd describe himself as a "trained opera singer." But he sure has the chops for it. Read recently (maybe here) that a well-known female opera singer has expressed interest in singing with him. Can't remember her name. Anyway, love the fun facts. And of course most non-fans or casual fans don't know this stuff.
Oh, Adam definitely took opera lessons as a teenager. He used to say it was for about a year. More recently he has dialed it back to 6 months. I think he is trying to downplay it, as it doesn't fit the rocker/pop star persona. But, one time when he chatted with Angelina Kalahari, her friend told him Angelina was an opera singer, and Adam enthusiastically volunteered that he had taken opera lessons, so it is true. And something he is probably proud about, but not for the public? And, FYI, yes, I have talked with Angelina several times about whether he could sing opera legitimately. She not only said "yes" but said he would be a huge star if he did. I said he would probably need to study opera more intensely, and she said not really. Some coaching yes, but he has the technique to do it already. (For those relatively new to the forum, Angelina is a Glambert, and also a well-respected operatic soprano who is in great demand as a coach, giving masterclasses around Europe. So, she knows whereof she speaks.)

I am REALLY LOVING this bass player! ETA: Anyone remember what video it was last night where Adam singled out the bass playing?! "Listen to that bass!"

Only for children's shows and daytime tv, for some strange reason beyond my comprehension... Well.... I showed the video to my 7 year old Adam fan in the making. Stripper and swearing and all. He watched it intently, then declared that he liked it, but that he had envisioned Adam singing ALN a bit more 'fierce'. It was a bit too mellow for him. That's all he wanted to say about it. The rest of the evening I heard him singing at random moments 'Don't give a fuck if the sun comes up'. A great earworm that sentence, apparently. I tried to explain (again!) about swearing, especially randomly. Suggested to him that he could sing 'don't give a damn if the sun comes up'. Only got a surprised look from him 'naahh, that doesn't rhyme'. After that little talk he just chose not to sing that one offensive word, which worked surprisingly well. I'll suggest it to Adam, I think Love your story and also love the solution. The honesty of children is amazing! And we can always sing the missing word for Adam if he doesn't want to sing it. 538 is still playing the damn version though..... Hope Adam shows them tomorrow how it's done and does the normal version. They play GT with it, why ALN not I don't understand. Except that they only got the damn version from Warner, but that doesn't make sense much either.

Just listened back the play from ALN tonight on the FrankenVrijdag Show on Radio 538 and they said something about Adam closing off the show tomorrow. As he's their main artist (or it seems like) I figured he would do that, but that also gives a time slot for his performance for close to 11 pm Amsterdam time. The show ends on 11:30 PM.

Do we have a World Clock for this posted? I have to be gone from about 4:30pm until about 10:00pm my Central time. I can't remember if we have a live stream for this.
