I was hoping Aln would get ads today. As next week, 1D is releasing their new single. So that would overpower adds for ALN. But it has to be soon as we are heading into the holidays, and I thinks adds for ALN might be slow. ???? Do you think WB has re-couped their investment in TOH. ??? I hope the WB is happy w their new artist I know that WB is happy with Adam and very pleased with how TOH is doing. There is no way to figure out the numbers on TOH -- either expenses or revenue -- but it is unlike they have recouped the investment in TOH already, but they probably will. As posted already, TOH does not have a radio impact date in the US or Canada yet. And it has not been serviced to radio yet -- which means that the vast majority of PDs won't add it. Clearly WB has this covered. The video is all over iHR and CBS radio websites. As far as I can determine, the ALN music video was featured on about 600 radio websites -- HAC, CHR/Top 40 and Rhy Top 40. I expect they will push it to HAC and CHR/Top 40. When it is time, we will know. ETA: I expect that WB has a plan for adds but no clue if they will be a slow build or a fast hit. Also, the holiday freeze is 2 months away and is not a consideration now.

What an AMAZING weekend I had. I still can't believe all that happened ::wub:: First I met Adam on the airport Saturday morning. That evening I saw him perform at RAdio 538 XXL Live at the Ziggodome and he was so good! His voice was marvelous! So good to see him on the same stage as I saw him with Queen, but now doing his own music. And yesterday we got to do it all again: we went to the recordings of Kun Je Het Al Zien. Waiting outside was so wonderful, talking with all the other fans. When we got inside there was a man who pointed out where you had to sit. And of course, that weren't the places me and Alexander wanted to sit. But luckily nic42 and skaschep got very good seats in front of the stage, so when the man was busy pointing out to everyone where they had to go, me and Alexander got to Nic and Skaschep and stood with them at te front of the stage! So I saw Adam from just 2 meters! Wow, wow, wow he was soooo good. The interview was so hilarious, Adam really had a great time. I had to pinch myself several times to see if I wasn't dreaming. Afterwards we noticed Adam didn't leave yet. And when all the fans were put behind the gate Adam came out, first doing some check up in the cutting room, and then he came to us fans for pictures and autographs. He was so sweet. Everyone had their picture taken with their smartphone, but I had my camera with me, so when I gave him my camera (he made the pictures) he looked and said "an old fashion camera!!" (yep, that is me, I have an old fashion camera ). I had such a great time with everybody, all the Glambers are so sweet! If time could only be stopped so the moment would last forever... I would never have thought this weekend would turn out so amazing. It is beyond everything I could dream of. And now he is heading to London: UK Glamberts, enjoy enjoy enjoy!!! He is yours now Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful experience with Adam. Fan stories are the best and I will never tire of hearing how amazing and sweet Adam is

Mix 94.1@Mix941@timesmasher it will not be an "opening act" deal. I know you're joking, but when he's on promo tour or if involve performance, he doesn't travel alone. He has Rob and his day to day manager, (I forgot her name). They will remind him all those details before he arrived on locations.

New Adam Lambert video was shot in Las VegasBy Dave Herrera Las Vegas Review-Journal Last week, Adam Lambert, who's due in Las Vegas in December, shared his new video for "Another Lonely Night," which was actually shot here in town this past August. Taken from the current single from his latest effort, "The Original High," released this past June, the clip was directed by Luke Gilford, who's worked previously with David Lynch and Prada and is currently working on a film that he co-wrote featuring Pamela Anderson, Dree Hemingway and Jane Fonda. Like countless other videos that have preceded it, Las Vegas serves as a backdrop for the piece, but not like you'd think. Unlike the vast amount of other videos that have been shot here, however, the city is featured far less prominently than the typical scenes you see depicted. Rather than relying on aerial footage or jump shots of all the neon, Gilford intersperses shots of less recognizable landmarks that add texture to the visuals, as opposed to being the focal point. "That was a big part of what I wanted to achieve," Gilford explains via email. "We've all seen the Strip. I'm interested in the more gritty parts of Las Vegas, the underbelly of the glamour. Both Adam and I wanted to represent the darkness and alienation that can come with entertainment. So for me, it was important to find places that are not corporate or glossy but more independent and original." Portrayed in a parallel narrative style, the video shows a slice of life of four individuals making a living on the Strip and highlights the loneliness that colors their day-to-day lives when they're off the clock. While the video is delivered as a performance clip, shots of Lambert crooning for the camera actually play into the overall storyline. That's precisely what Gilford had in mind when the pop star -- whom he had met a few years prior at a party through mutual friends -- asked him to direct the video, which features Lambert performing at the Peppermill, which has been fashioned here to resemble a nightclub. "The legendary producer Max Martin is one of my heroes, and he had worked on the album with Adam, so I was excited to hear what they'd made together," says Gilford. "When I heard 'Another Lonely Night,' I immediately thought of Las Vegas and suggested a storyline where Adam plays a struggling lounge singer in Vegas. I also wanted to follow a couple other characters, like a showgirl and a male dancer, but it was important to me for them to be real and not actors." In a roundabout way, that's how Gigi Gorgeous ended up in the video. The Canadian YouTube phenom steals some scenes from Lambert as a wedding organizer who helps happy couples tie the knot at the legendary Little White Chapel, the place where Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy once got hitched, and shares screen time with a pair of dancers, a male stripper shedding a fireman's outfit for a lustful crowd at the Olympic Garden topless cabaret, and a showgirl twirling beneath bright lights in full regalia. "I went to Las Vegas a week before the shoot to location scout and cast the video," Gilford recalls of the shoot, which took place in mid-August over the course of two-days in 115 degree heat. "I'm very particular with locations and casting, so I had to be there and do it myself. Casting was more difficult than I expected though, so I stayed a couple days longer to continue looking for people and places to shoot. I met a drive-thru wedding chapel minister I was really inspired by, so I asked to include in the video, but she wasn't interested. So Adam and I talked about asking one of our friends to play her instead. We both love Gigi, and she was excited to try something new. I'm so happy she did it." Gilford ties the whole concept together by lingering with his lens on the lonely moments of the character's lives, as dawn turns to day and they each make their way back home in the sobering light of morning. Gilford says he's happy with the way the clip turned out. "Often a video can stray pretty far from the treatment," he concludes. "I was so happy that in this case the final product wasn't too drastically different than what I originally set out to do." Check out the video and then make plans to catch Lambert with Rob Thomas at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday, Dec. 5 for Mix 94.1 Mercedes in the Morning's Not So Silent night. Tickets for the holiday show start at $39.50 and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/the-reel/new-adam-lambert-video-was-shot-las-vegas

I don't think he's been smoking week prior to the show, but he maybe did it after, at the club ...

I cannot imagine another singer having to follow Adam. Unless you are an egomaniac, you have to know he would sing rings around you, AND he has such a powerful, compelling stage presence. Good luck to him.

Has anyone called the venues or radio stations to find out how long of a show Adam is doing in Las Vegas or Wilkes-Barre? Trying to decide which one to go to.
