Here is what my friend from Minnesota emailed me this week. Love her!! I had my small town local bar, play Ghost Town for me! They have a trivia night on Thursdays nights and my daughter and went to it this past Thursday. The guy who MC's it is also a DJ and plays songs and takes requests,while we are playing, so I requested Ghost Town. It's just a small group of people that come and play, about 6 groups with about 2-6 people in each group, and some people sitting at the bar ,and not one of them knew the song. - I asked a few of them. lol The DJ/Trivia guy, who is really nice said he would play it at his regular gigs now, as he really liked the song. So although it is a tiny tiny part in the whole spectrum of things, I have done my part in promoting the song and Adam... woo hoo! LOL! Great job both of you. Love little stories like this. |
