Do you suppose that the reason much of we Lambert's push is that often, we post on special Facebook sites that are filled with Glamberts only, we use psuedonyms, we have 'special' twitter accounts....so we are in this bubble and sure, we tweet and post but only to each other...a lot of us do that. That is up to us but it severely curtails our sphere of influence. ymmv

Looks like they are going to be hitting HAC hard with the radio shows. About the video, play it as much as you like, but views are not going to pick up until the song gets more exposure. This is not like GT. I doubt anybody on Adam's team is expecting huge video numbers until the song starts getting spins. I think we may need to relax for a couple weeks. The song doesn't even have an adds date yet, right? Sure radio exposure will help alot.BUT by folks playing the video and showing a BIG interest in Adam's ALN on YouTube ,this makes these radio stations take an interest .. That's why they watch what goes on on YouTube and Spotify.. they aren't going to put on music that the public shows no interest in... I will continue to push the video ..I feel that's the best way I can help Adam.. Everybody is free to do what makes them feel happy.. twitter.com/adamlambert?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw please read what Adam would like...He keeps asking us to view the video...He said it like 3 times.. and he says it where ever he appears.. I think hitting the ALN video is a win win. I agree it shows interest and high numbers are always a sign of success. Maybe not success as defined by high sales and chart placement but success as in appearing popular. I run a playlist of ALN and Ghost Town along with a couple of other artist's songs just so it doesn't look like I'm just trying to rack up numbers for Adam. Not sure how involved the you tube "police" are but don't want to chance it. Lol i have also been wondering something. Is it better for Adam to be involved with these radio concerts as opposed to the jingle balls? Are the jingle balls more for high charting artists? Is it because he performed jingle balls when he first started out so the radio concerts are the next level? Anyone's thoughts?

Not about the music, it's about the visuals. ALN - sort of old school introspective even tho the "characters" are contemporary. And it's way more about the music. I wonder if VEVO also plays a small role.

Of course views are good, just not getting the "sense of urgency" I am feeling here.

But maybe we shouldn't beat ourself over the head with comparison to some track that was released to radio, can be purchased and has been marketed to such extent that even I, who admittedly live in some kind of bubble, have heard about it. The fact that I saw the video, is due to atop, but I had heard about it weeks prior to that, and my kids were talking about it too. The video is strong too. But, enough of her, here is what I am thinking right now. Adam just got a triple platinum award, and I come to atop and I do not read one congrats to him about that, but 20 posts, that certain other videos have more views. I don't quite get that. Where are these ladies below? Why don't I see them much more? Have we forgotten how to celebrate? I appreciate the call to action, to play the video a few more times, to let a slightly mixed playlist run for a few hours or overnight, that is all good. But to constantly draw comparisons with someone, who is on a different stage in the promotional cycle, is just not really helping, imo. Adam has an album with a hit single, and a slow burner at that, which in sales, is generally a good thing, now he is rolling out this second one, the video is good, but promotion in the US has not even started, because clearly they want to milk GT for Halloween, which makes total sense to me. So they concentrate on Europe, obviously, there is some more stuff planned than we know in UK. Let's just go with the program right now, play the video, obviously, because we got that marching order, but not beat ourselves up over numbers, that cannot compete with top radio players at this time. He is doing good, he has a rejuvenated and active career, and tons to do, and tons of opportunities ahead of him. And he is with a supportive and great label. Things are good. Talking about singing? Has somebody got an idea how he is doing six shows in a row across the whole US. east coast to west coast, and south to north, presumably with band (?). Did they rent a plane for a week? 12/3 Phoenix, AZ 12/4 San Diego, CA 12/5 Las Vegas, NV 12/6 Las Vegas, NV 12/7 Cleveland, OH 12/8 Wilkes-Barre, PA 12/10 Worcester, MA Anyhow, this is just the logistics focused mind of mine at work..... I am sure others are going to wonder about the vocals. I think, if the weather is not too bad on the East Coast, he should be fine, because most are going to be slightly shorter sets, not full concerts. But still, it is a lot for the body and mind, to be up and down in the air, in hotels and planes all the time, deal with weather and altitude, like a pilot does, and still sing and perform at top level. Glad, he gets a Christmas break after this.

Just got my tickets for the Phoenix show! We're a few rows back in one of the seat sections closest to the stage.
So excited! This will be the first Adam concert I've been able to go to since he was here for the Arizona State Fair, right after Trespassing came out. The only downside is that he won't be accompanied by my favorite fluffy-haired astrophysicist guitarist...
Still, a nice pre-Christmas gift for me & my sis.

Anyone try for tickets to the Phoenix show yet. It says 10:00 Mountain time so should be available now since Mountain time is 1 hour ahead of Pacific time (supposedly) but site still says "available soon". Maybe it is just going to be 10:00 AM. It's 9:26 am in Phoenix right now...so another 34 minutes. loxie - thanks - figured that out after I posted. Have my ticket.
