How wonderful that your Mom had the people who loved her most near her at her passing. My deepest sympathies.

seoulmateThe story about your mom waiting for your brother is very much the way it was with my dad. I was the farthest away and dad passed within an hour of my arrival.

Seoulmate so sorry for your loss..Dignity at last for your mom. My dad was in a home for dementia and one of the craziest memories I have,is when My DH and cousins brought a birthday cake, for him to his nursing home. We lit the candles for his 92 birthday and proceeded to sing Happy Birthday.His response was to run down the hall and hide. So there we were, all four of us running after him down the hall with the lit cake .He died ,after suffering from all the trials of getting old .
