Hi guys. This is gonna be one long post, so please if you don't have much time or don't like me, scroll down. I'm sorry to plague the Atop with my problems and promise this is the first and also the last post of such a lenght from me. At first I just wanna say how much I love this fandom and that it is giving me strenght to cope with a difficult situation. I don't wanna frighten you, nah, I'm not ill or anything like that. It's all about the same problem-school. You go there every day, work hard and after 3 fucking long years, they definitely flank you out. I know, my problems may seem ridiculous to many of you but this is the worst and definitely the most cruel thing ever happened to me. I'm listening to Adam's TSP much these days and sometimes I feel okay but then pain strikes again and then I cry all day long. It's very difficult because I don't know what to do in the future. I'm considering various alternatives, either I will go there again or completely change the school. Which one is better? If I managed to pass the initial exams which is not sure at all, I'll have to go through the same doses of stress, or I'll go to another with, with the feeling that I was defeated by one 'extremely active' man. It's so difficult to deal with the idea that someone let you down, my self-confidence is not in on the first floor but in the basement. It happened a month ago and I'm not getting better at all. Sometimes I ask myself what bad I did to humanity that I always fail in the most important situations. Like now.... I passed all the written exams an failed the oral part and I'd like to emphasize here that I had no resit for that one. And I have to wait until February to fill in my applications. I don't have the slightest idea what I should do and I'm aware that no one will advise me on that because it's my life.... I wish I knew what is the best alternative for me, but I don't have a clue and I'm afraid I won't figure it out soon. Now I'm seeking at least a part time job to earn little money and fill my free time. I know it is said that time heals all the wounds but I don't wanna be sad anymore. And that sucks so much. F*ck it all!
ETA: Don't worry guys, I DON'T HAVE suicidal tendencies, I just needed to vent my frustration.

Aww, Ame, I think it may be a good thing that you have to step away for a little while. It will give you time to process what happened and consider all your options. Life is rarely a straight path to where you end up.

Hi guys! Haven’t been in here in a while. xoxoxo to everyone. I don’t think I ever posted about Shadow’s outcome. The x-ray was a false alarm – no tumor! The ultrasound showed nothing.
I have a question. Ever since my surgery, I get extremely weak and tired after doing physical things (especially after therapy). I stumble and feel weak and dizzy. Surgery was back in April. After other surgeries, I have always bounced back to my energetic self quite quickly. This time it is just not normal. Doctor says it is because it was a very serious injury and major surgery.
Anyway, does anyone know of things that will give me energy and help to not get tired so quickly? Not some caffeine based energy drink. Perhaps vitamins, foods? My bones are healing well and my health is improving – I just need more energy.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Nice to know your bones are healing well. I kept improving with my mobility and pain for about two years after my surgery, so it is a long recovery time. You'll get that energy back as you continue to heal! hang in there!

Hi lynne! I am improving with the dexterity and mobility already. And I am being patient with that. Hell, I couldn't feed myself for a while. Now I can button buttons and zip zippers! Maybe yoiu can relate Every baby step is a milestone. I'm just annoyed at being tired.
Not to be a complainer, but I tore my left rotator cuff during my fall. Didn't even realize it until a month or so ago. It hurts like hell. Maybe I can't tolerate pain as well anymore. Anyway, the cortisone shot didn't work, so I'm trying PT for that also. I want to get it fixed, but ortho doesn't want to do surgery so soon. I've had it before - minor procedure. I don't want to just mask the pain, I want it to be repaired so I don't make the tears worse. Anyway, I'm a tough little shit, so it's all still good.
I see the neuro at the end of the month, so maybe he'll release me for surgery and allow me to take off the fucking neck collar. It makes me feel like it's 150 degrees in the heat. I know , I know - patience.

My husband has had both of his done, the last one six months ago. I don't think you are a complainer at all. He said his hurt like hell, too, and he typically never complains! Wow! Great improvement with your dexterity since last time we "talked!" You are tough, bb! Hope you get that collar off soon!

I've heard that any kind of major surgery is a huge drain on your body and energy levels will can take a year or so to return to normal. If you are getting blood work results maybe check on whether you are leaning towards anemia. Even if it is not low enough to be considered "anemia" any deficiency in your iron levels compromises your oxygen levels. Also if your red blood cell count is leaning lower that can also contribute. I know athletes in competition take supplements to boost red cell levels so you might look for something like that. It sounds like the exertion is tapping out your oxygen supply.

(a) 6 (b) 7 (c) 5 (d) 4 (e) 3 (f) 2 (g) 1 9. (a) 7 (b) 6 (c) 4 (d) 2 (e) 1 10 (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1 Now add up the total number of points. OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should "handle with care." You're seen as vain, self-centered, and extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you. 51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality, a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once, someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate. 41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting, someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding, someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out. 31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you, realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken. 21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature. UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions and who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think you're boring.. Only those who know you well, know that you aren't.
