Oh momtomany, I'm so sorry to hear of your dear Mom's passing. One of the hardest things in life that we deal with is just this. What really helps me is knowing that even though my Mom isn't with me physically, her wonderful spirit is always with me, every single day.
I know, without a doubt, that your Mom was a very awesome lady just from *knowing* you here on Adamtopia. She certainly created a very special daughter.
I wish you happier days, and hope you find comfort in all the special memories you have of your Mom.
Peace and love, Sally

I just want to pop in and wish everyone the best of the season. I am sorry for your loss momtomany. I am heading into a rather sobering situation myself....it is most likely my sister's last Christmas and she has requested we all be there so I am off to cowboy country, Alberta style. My baby sister died of cancer about 13 years ago and my mother about 11 years ago and now my last sister. Large cell lung cancer, smoking related, metastasized. Sure makes you face your mortality. I will try to pop in periodically but I will be constantly on the move...5 beds in 10 days...whew!! Hugs to all..

Mayumi's husband, Rene, suffered a mild stroke while in Texas to celebrate the holidays with their son. He is doing well in the hospital, and Mayumi's boss has agreed to have her work remotely from Texas. Mayumi and Rene are such gracious, giving people who always reach out to everyone in need. Please send your prayers, thoughts, light and love their way. PM me if you want Mayumi's email address, as I don't know how much she will be checking in at ATop.
