Hi Adamtopia. !!!!!
I am bristolgill from the U.K. I have been a major Adam Lambert fan since seeing him on American Idol and have been trying all that time to find an Adam soulmate here in the U.K......with no joy. I have seen Adam on his tour in the U.K. and also with Queen in 2012 at the Hammersmith Apollo. Then I decided to come to the USA to see them again. I was at Vancouver and both shows in Vegas where ...joy of joy I met some Glamberts. So I want to send a message of thanks to the lovely ladies who were so welcoming and friendly in Vegas. They told me about Adamtopia so I am now a member..... They include the lovely SophieB (a fellow brit at last), Q3 & vaiouser. Thank you so much.  There were other ladies I met there whose names I do not know. So for you too I was the older woman with ADAM letters cut out in silver glitter fabric on my top and a big union jack flag as a cloak. crazy !
I feel so happy to be here and to be able to talk to like-minded "crazy for Adam" fans.....He is such a perfect bundle of joy. XXX

OTT. Live in Phila., where 2 idiots carjacked female real estate 2 weeks ago. Ran over and killed 3 siblings a female aged 15, and her 10 yo and 7 yo brothers. 3 days ago the mother died and real estate agent still hospitalized. To date 4 murder charges, sexual assault and numerous charges filed. The children were making money by selling fruit and veggies raised on a small plot for their church.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has no hate crime statute. Two weeks ago, two gay men were badly beaten in Center City, Philadelphia, by a group of 15-20 people, men and women from Bucks County, which is a suburb of Philadelphia. As of Friday September 26th, three people have been charged with various charges, two men and one woman. Most people mistakenly thought that this was a hate crime, but since Philadelphia had no such law on the books, these people were not charged under the law, as having committed a hate crime. This group of people had shouted gay slurs, upon encountering the two gay men. Legislators met and demonstrated in Harrisburg, this week to protest and file motions to have crimes against sexual orientation covered under the law as a hate crime. There was a large LGBT rally in Philadelphia to show support for the two men, one of who will require facial surgery and has his jaw wired shut.

Philadelphia has more than it's share of big-city issues, but one thing we didn't need was some idiots from the suburbs coming here to insult and harm people who live here. So far, one guy who was the Assistant Coach at Archbishop Wood, either resigned or was fired and the female was suspended from her job and now is fired for this incident and posting hospital patient's x-rays on line. Clearly this young woman has some deep-seated issues. I was heartened to see the general outrage and protests by the citizens of Philadelphia against gay bashing. My 2 sons are gay. |
