Help from the Glamily please. I have a son 25 gay, trying to find a place to live in Chicago. he is enrolling in the international comic school there.....are there any fans online here from Chicago that could give me some advice or guidance to help my son make the right choices. He is currently in Michigan, and I his mom here in Florida...just want him to be surrounded by folks that understand and except his life-style ...thanks in advance...I am so overly protective of him...not sure if I can put my email address here, so I will check back every now and again...any help would be appreciated...don't want a handout...just guidance and any leads to a studio apartment etc.

Members can PM you if they can't put it in a reply. I'll put a little ticker in the main thread and see if we can find help for you.

My daughter is back to job hunting and would like to get in to Publishing/Editing so if anyone has any tips or connections please contact me. I have a copy of her resume. That was pretty eye opening to me as she never really talks all that much to me about what she does so it was interesting to get that picture of her abilities without her downplaying herself. She has always just described herself as a research assistant which sounded pretty basic to me but her resume was very enlightening in that respect. LOL

Hi to everyone. I have Minnie a mixed breed border collie/pitbull who resembles a blond shepard type of dog. Has never cost a penny except for the food, treats etc. In April I noticed she was slowing down. Paid someone to take us to the vet and during the drive, I was saying that she had had a good run. I got her off a street corner as a puppy and estimated 15-18 years old. Got to the vet who upon seeing Minnie, said that "she shouldn't be here". Turned out she had a ovarian infection and arthritis, but surprise Minnie is still here and I'm so grateful. She finished the antibiotics and is on Hip and Joint medications, which seem to help immensely with her hip action while walking. Determined to keep her, as long as possible.

Glad she's come thru in good shape. I have the same mix although he looks just like a border collie. My older Weimerweimer is getting a bit stiff but DasuQuin treats are helping her out. Best wishes that Minnie will have many more good years.

The second type from Amazon, she regards as treats. I will try the DasuQuin also. Thanks so very much, just trying to hold onto Minnie as long as possible.

Hi new to thread and adamtopia so wanted to say hi Hi becca! (imagine lots of jumping up and down smilies here ) Welcome to the board and hop in and say something on the main thread. Now that you are all signed up and ready to go you know that you'll have to post your "how I found Adam" story, it's one of the first things every new member does to pass the initiation tests, lol.

Hey guys - completely new to the board here. We just created a remix of Ghost Town, as we fell in love with Lambert's incredible vocals! Hope you guys like it and can share it out. We're a DJ duo based out of Asia. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijN98vEkidQ
