Happy 4th of July to all celebrating! What a great weekend, so far. My son is finally back from his European tour and has been telling us so many fun stories about his experiences. The last festival show sounds like it was so fun. It was in Norway at the Hove festival. He went on after Robyn, and the venue was like a big dance party in the most beautiful forest with twinkling lights and a disco ball in the middle of the woods! I immediately thought of the IIHY video, LOL. All things lead back to Adam. lynne What a thrill to hear from your son his stories from the tour!!! Happy 4th of July with all your family!!!

Lynne, this looks like a fun event! www.hovefestival.com/info/ I was hoping they'd show some night shots with all the twinkling lights, but couldn't find any pics like that.[/quote] I'll ask if he got any pics of it. It doesn't even get dark there until 10:30 p.m. right now! Another funny story, they played a club in Paris called La Java, or something like that. The day they played that party they happened to meet two guys at their hotel from the States who came up and started talking to them when they heard their American accents. They were very nice, ultra conservative guys who were planning a bike trip. They asked my son why he was in Paris; he told them they were djs and on a tour in Europe etc... They talked for awhile, one was a teacher, and my son said his mom was a teacher. They talked about English curriculum, lol, and my son invited them to their show, and after their enthusiastic response, he told them he'd put their names on the wait list for the show. They were excited to go because they were reverse jet lagged etc... Later that day their rep picked them up to take them out to dinner before the show and asked if she had told them the club they were playing was a gay club. She hadn't; they said great, and showed up to a packed show with a huge waiting line and a crowd ready to dance and party. He said it was the wildest, craziest Parisienne party imaginable and that they kept laughing during their whole set imagining those two really conservative guys showing up for the show. His favorite city was Berlin. Of course, it didn't hurt that he met a girl there who will be coming to see him later this summer. . He had a great tour, but came home exhausted... Three weeks all across Australia, then a week in Canada, back to L.A. for two days and off to Europe for three weeks. He doesn't have to go abroad again for a month, and he is pretty ecstatic about that.

He does play the piano, and sings too ;D Video??? 8-) Ok, he wasn't in a musical mindset this morning but here you go. It's been awhile since we practiced. He's been on a diet. Too much training made him a bit chubby ;D Maybe I should upload some of my Adam vids...

I am uploading some GNT vids. My connection sucks and it takes an eternity to upload HD. Ten minutes of vid takes 2 hours Add to that they are old shows and they probably won't be viewed but what the heck. And since Q3 said we can be a tad off topic, I'll post them in the news thread. I enjoy a bit of Adam fireworks.

Foster update: My dear boy is doing good today!! He is eating well, going outside and rolling in the grass & sunbathing!! His tail is wagging!!
I've given him several massages today, and the last time, just an hour ago, he smiled at me! Yeppers, the boy does smile. I can see a change in him. I'm not being just hopeful, he's acting like my *boy* again. And, the kitties are loving on his SOOO much!!
Not getting my hopes up too high, but staying positive, for sure. He's been way more active today than yesterday. And, talked to one of my g/f's on Sat., and she reminded me that it takes about 3 days to make up for 1, being in the hospital. Didn't think about that.
Foster still isn't eating dog food, but that's ok, too. He's eating. He will eat his old sis's catfood, Fancy Feast Grilled Chicken & any type of deli meat. He also had multiple bites of left over steak from last night. AND!!! He actually begged today, when I was eating what was left of the left over steak, in a sandwich. Needless to say, he got most of it, but wouldn't eat the bread..lmao!! Such a picky boy! But, that's ok too!!
I was on the phone this evening with an old friend, and call waiting rang. Didn't check it, but when I was done on the phone, I did. It was about 6pm, and it was my Vet!!!! OMG!! They were calling to check on Foster!!! I tried calling back, and I did leave a message to let them know how he was doing. I truly think I have the most wonderful Vet in the world!!! I'll call them back in the AM, before work, so they know how he is doing and to see what the next step is. That wasn't discussed when I brought him home on Saturday.
I really think he is feeling so much better. He's acting like he used to, but that doesn't tell what is going on on the inside, I know that. But, my Vet said the major thing was to get him eating & drinking again. He's doing that, and getting stronger, day by day. The last time I let him outside, he went down the stairs with no problem, no stopping and waiting, like his legs weren't strong enough.
I BELIEVE!!!! Oh, YES I DO!!!! Foster is my little miracle man!!
On another note, and very OT, but it's ok here. My oldest brother called me today from HI. I had talked to my youngest son yesterday, who also lives in HI. Knew that he was going to see my bro yesterday. Well, my brother said they were talking about me yesterday??? I asked why and he told me that they had miscalculated my Bday last year, and thought that it was this year that I turned.....60. I don't care if anyone knows my age. It's who I am, and what I am?? Whatever!! LOL!!
Anyways, he wanted to know if I wanted to come to HI for my Bday this year, and also Thanksgiving. My Bday is the 20th of Nov. and Thanksgiving is the 24th!! Of course, I said a big *YES*!! I hardly get to see my son & haven't seen my brother for 4 years. So, have to work it out with my boss, but enough time to settle that one.
At first, I wasn't that excited about it, even though I should have been. But, after I thought about it for a while, I did get excited.
I really, really need this get-a-way. I don't know what will be going on at that time, but I do trust my Vet to take good care of Foster, if that is the case. I have a dear G/F who will take care of my kitties for me. The last 2.5 years have been very taxing & traumatic for me. Hawaii is the perfect place to lay back & enjoy. I have been there 5 times, brother induced, most of them....lol!!
Don't think I'm bragging, I'm not. And, I do have some conflicts with my bro, also, but am NOT going there now. He is who he is...I will always be a little sister to him, no matter how old I am. Enuf said, there!
But, something to look forward to. He was so sweet and consoling about Foster. He has a 21 yo kitty, who they've been struggling with. Topaz is such a cutie pie. We have somewhat of the same mind set, just different on some things. It's ok, and it's all good.
I will get to spend my Bday & Thanksgiving with my son!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never met his g/f, so that will happen too!!!!!!!!!!!
That's the best part, I can deal with the rest!! LOL!!
(my bro & his wife fight all the time and I will be staying with them. That's the biggest part, but I can deal)
OK...enuf from me. Just needed to vent a bit, as usual. Thank you all for tolerating this. Just scroll on...hahaha!
I'll bb later to comment on more of your posts. Need to go cook some 4th of July stuff for me & the doggie boy!! Told Foster I'd cook him a hamburger & a hotdog!! WOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT!!
TY all for listening & putting up with me. I appreciate it more than you know. Staying positive right now!!!
~Hugs~ To you ALL!!! TY for giving me a place to get all of this out, Q3!!! I really don't know what I would do if Atop didn't exist!! Guess I need to thank Adam F. Lambert for that too!! ILHSFM!!!!!!!!!!!!
