Thank you LindaG23 that was not only appropriate but very touching.Thank you. Thank you seoulmate , stardust, lynne hugs to all of you. My family is going through tough times but we'll make it through.I've got a picture of my grandfather on my desk and I think that'd make him smile. I think I'm going to take a bit of time to focus on my family and I'll come back when things are semi-normal again. I miss this place though and all you lovely people in it. kapsiz that's great

Angelkrash,
I haven't checked this thread in a bit so I'm just seeing your news. Big hug to you. We will miss you while you are taking time away but will be here when you are ready to come back. Be good to yourself.

Since there are so many knowledgeable people here, I have a question.
We recently got our credit reports and there was a charge on there that we do not owe. We sent a request to delete it via the internet.
Last year, hubby went to a physical therapy center only one time. The company billed him for 3 visits. He called and fought with them and they promised to zero out his account, but they kept sending the bill. FF a few months and the company merged with another one. He called the new company and management had changed. The current management told him that they did not have access to the former company's files. We sent a few letters and stopped receiving the bogus bill.
I just got a call from a collection agency saying that they could not remove it from our credit report because their client refused to give them permission to do so. She tried to get me to pay it, of course. It's only $35, but I'm not paying it because it is basically fraud. He only had one visit.
Any suggestions? We have otherwise perfect credit and have worked hard to get there.
