Thanks for posting this playlist graciejane. I remember Headonfire having excellent vids for the Dallas QAL show. She appears to have been close to me in Houston.

I am back in Austin and am drug-out tired. Here is my short recap of the Houston event. First, the not so good stuff, although I knew Adam was not supposed to come on until 9:30 (I got this information from the venue), the one hour fifteen minute delay was hard at that time of night. Except for a short bit for the Costume contest, we had been listening to a DJ for over two hours and the music was not Avicii or Classixx quality. No one was dancing; there was no real energy in the room. To quote a famous person, when they played Johnny Cash toward the end, all I could think was; “for fux sake!” Finally Adam came on and I will confess it took me about three songs to get over my annoyance. I felt like a die-hard Freddie fan sitting in the balcony arms crossed, but Adam won me over (he always does). Enough of that, on to the good stuff. Adam sounded great and so did the band. The videos I have seen so far, do not do justice to the fullness of the band’s sound. I think by the end of December, they should be an arena worthy backing group for Adam. Now we just need to get him into those larger 5k-7k venues. My 21-yr old niece loved it. I had given her the CD and she confessed to me on the way to the concert that she had also purchased a download for her phone so she could listen anywhere, not just in the car. A chip off the old block, that girl! As soon as Adam started singing, she abandoned me for the floor because she wanted to get close to “that sexy beast”. This was her first live Adam experience and I think she’s hooked. She said that ALN had not been her favorite song but understood it now that she had heard him sing it live. Adam does that to people. A notable point for me was how well one of my all-time favorite songs, Shady, fits in with the new music. Also, I can’t wait to hear The Light again. I think it will be a stand-out in time because Adam’s voice soars on that song. On my far out wish list is for the band to provide some of the back-up vocals. On to the next radio event. Thanks for the recap, LindaG23! How nice that you had such a great evening (despite the delay!) and that your niece loved Adam, too!

nice video, it gives you a look how Adam sees the crowd when he is performing. I notice lots of papers on the floor in front of him, can't all be the setlist, so i think some sheets contain lyrics (Blasck Cat maybe?) I also see a tv screen in front of him which is often used for lyrics. Adam doens;t usual;y need those screens, does he? wonder if the radio station put it there. That's indeed a lot of papers there. The Light and Lucy were both new as well so maybe he just put them there for reminders if he didn't remember his lyrics. He did had some troubles with Underground the first few times he sang that one. Just quoting myself as when I checked out this video I notice him looking down quite some during the choruses. Like he wanted to do it right now so it could be one of the sheets was for Underground. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXQecl0Frfs
