Steven Tyler is supposed to perform Dream On for the finale. If I missed it, sorry if this post is out of sequence for the night but wonder if there will be a reprise of the entrance he made for the MTV Video Awards. He arrives on a "flying" piano with full orchestra. Won't be the same without the rest of the band there. I put this in the AI thread but nobody is there.

Tim McGraw + Scotty is a good match-up for him. First one that made commercial sense to me. Actually Scotty sang better than Tim McGraw. yes, with the help of background vocalists he certainly did Tim has character to his voice where Scotty does not so they had to add texture with the background assistance. |

So Lee not only didn't get to perform, he didn't get to present the keys to the cars to the finalist either. They really are pretending he doesn't exist. Is anyone for S9 there? I didn't consciously look for them, and I didn't notice. No Lee or Crystal (I don't think)- anyone else?

Zinnia - I love that you are here with us right now, but isn't it the middle of the night for you? You are a hearty soul! LOL - I took a loooong nap in the evening . And I can get an hour or two more after this ends if I want to . It's close to 4.30am here. Actually, I usually wake up at 5.20... haha! |
