Adam should get that part on Spiderman.. his vocal's way better than this guy.. forgot his name Adam could have had the part if he wanted it. It would have been a career mistake IMO -- the show has not done well, is setting records for loosing money and is a total mess for the actors. Actually it's not actually loosing money yet because in spite of all the problems they have out earned weekly production costs in all the previews and the first week of the new preview run sold 95% occupancy. Of course it will have to run forever to make back development cost but I heard they were doing bang up merchandise sales during the original previews, they've already recorded the cast soundtrack album and since U2 have played with 3D before I'm wondering if they have plans to film it in 3D once it finally opens and release a film or do a 3D simulcast like they do with the MET shows. "It's not dead yet, Jim" and I wouldn't doubt Bono will somehow pull this off yet. |

Congrats to Scotty. He's a nice guy. I didn't want Lauren to win this, so I am pleased with the results. Now like most of the rest of the American Idol audience, I will not give another thought to him.
Congrats to bridgeymah for standing by her prediction from early on in the season.

Was Carrie the only Idol Alum? Because she was Lauren Idol? I love Carrie but I highly doubt she's Lauren's idol... they find a way to have her perform every season because she's the most successful Idol in the U.S. and really is the face of American Idol success. Carrie is Lauren's Idol and she was inspired by Carrie's Idol run to focus on her singing -- long before Lauren tried out for Idol back when she was 10 years old. This is from her pre-show Q&A.... Question: If you could model your career after an artist, who would it be and why? Answer: I would model my career after Carrie Underwood because she won the competition that I'm in and she is the most successful person to come out of this competition. |

Well - heck - I only saw Adam in the audience for one brief second and the same with Lee, at least I think I saw him behind Ryan's head one time, didn't I? Lee was done dirty. >:( Gaga was Gaga - notice how the cameras panned away from her when she was having sex on the mountain. hee. :  Didn't care for Beyonce's new song. Too chopped up. Scotty seems like a nice kid - good for him. But I wanted more Adam.  ETA - and I sure was looking forward to seeing two judges perform and one judge's husband perform. NOT!!! : |
