I am aware James Durbin bugs the s**t out of most people on this forum, but as a metal fan I would like to offer an alternative view of the outfit he was wearing tonight on the finale. To me it appeared to be a total homage to Rob Halford's look from the heyday of Judas Priest in the 80's and I think that it is very cool that James thinks so highly of Rob "The Metal God" Halford (as do I) that he showed him that kind of respect. It is also possible to think of it as an enlightened act. Well, my comment in the beginning was that it was gay leather boy look and it was because that's where Rob got the look to begin with. Even though he's not really a leather boy himself and he was not out at the time he thought the look was perfect for a rock star and thus was born the hilarious joke of all the straight metal dudes dressing like gay boys. |

Yes. And you know how they will do the interviews and sometimes interview the spouse/significant other? NPH has brought David up to those interviews where they talked about insignificant things such as their outfits and significant things such as the fact that they were expecting twins. I never saw them hold hands but not everyone is a hand holder. I think talking about the children they're having is pretty significant. Out stars do show affection for their partners. It's just that there are so few of them. thank you for correcting my misinformation. I'm thrilled to hear I was wrong!! I love NPH and know he's very proud of his relationship and his family. |

you can see the lapel pin Sauli has on much better in this pic.. looks like a Lighting Bolt.. hmmmm wonder where that came from... Seems like some closet raiding going on.. LOL ETA.. or the pic Gelly posted.. it is a lighting bolt.. hehe |

OMG!!! They held hands on the Red Carpet!!! I am joining the pool of Abdul congregation!!!!  OK, we were seated about 25 rows back from Adam, in the same aisle. He had an aisle seat so we could observe him, a lot! ;D He came in at the very last minute. We had to be seated by 4:30 so we did not see him on the red carpet. He came in during the 20 second countdown before the show goes live. Debbie the stage manage was trying to get everyone in the theater quiet and in walks Adam down the cenetr aisle! Well, he ruined the quiet. There was a 'buzz" and people were calling his name. He got to his seat quickly and the show started. He stood up during every commercial break because there was a constant flow of people to him. I mean, with all the celebrities in the audience, everyone wanted to go down and talk to Adam. Past idols, Idol crew, and fans. He was gracious and talked, shook hands, posed for pictures, signed things. He literally was a magnet.There wasn't one single commercial that this did not happen. Although, towards the end, they put 2 ushers next to him and they slowed the flow. Adam left before the announcing of the winner. I am going to go watch the show now. Be back later. |
