David's a chef right now but he has been an actor. If you have ever watched HIMYM, he occasionally shows up as Scooter who had a crush on Lily as a kid.

Going to have a hard time passing BTW in sales -- now up to 2.6 million units in the US alone. Billboard today --- "The Edge of Glory," the third proper single from "Born This Way," falls 3-19 in its second week on the Hot 100, as its digital sales drop by 64% to 98,000. On Radio Songs, however, "Glory" vaults 54-37 (30 million, up 52%).Total for TEOG is not 364K units -- so it has 2.3 million to go to pass BTW -- and that is assuming that BTW stops selling which it will not. With the increased radio -- mostly coming from CHR which really moves units -- and the Idol performance, sales of TEOG will shoot up this week and it will easily end up as the #2 selling single from the album -- but #1 is really unlikely. OK I sometimes talk out my ass...LOL! Let me say then, that it is by far my favorite track on her album! ;D I follow Gaga very closely -- and BTW sales are record-setting. Just think that the expectations for her are so high now that she can't hit them. If her album sells 800K units, she will be criticized for not hitting 1 million units. It is a strange cage she has built for herself. |

OMG!!! They held hands on the Red Carpet!!! I am joining the pool of Abdul congregation!!!!  OK, we were seated about 25 rows back from Adam, in the same aisle. He had an aisle seat so we could observe him, a lot! ;D He came in at the very last minute. We had to be seated by 4:30 so we did not see him on the red carpet. He came in during the 20 second countdown before the show goes live. Debbie the stage manage was trying to get everyone in the theater quiet and in walks Adam down the cenetr aisle! Well, he ruined the quiet. There was a 'buzz" and people were calling his name. He got to his seat quickly and the show started. He stood up during every commercial break because there was a constant flow of people to him. I mean, with all the celebrities in the audience, everyone wanted to go down and talk to Adam. Past idols, Idol crew, and fans. He was gracious and talked, shook hands, posed for pictures, signed things. He literally was a magnet.There wasn't one single commercial that this did not happen. Although, towards the end, they put 2 ushers next to him and they slowed the flow. Adam left before the announcing of the winner. I am going to go watch the show now. Be back later. I still wanna know what cologne he was wearing, mys*&@^#r... (I keed...) So did you have fun??? HMMM??? Thanks for posting so quickly!! Adam, gracious as ever..late as ever..holding hands with Sauli..what a great night! I didn't even watch Idol. Got all my news here on ATOP..will see it Tevo'd manana. I am aware James Durbin bugs the s**t out of most people on this forum, but as a metal fan I would like to offer an alternative view of the outfit he was wearing tonight on the finale. To me it appeared to be a total homage to Rob Halford's look from the heyday of Judas Priest in the 80's and I think that it is very cool that James thinks so highly of Rob "The Metal God" Halford (as do I) that he showed him that kind of respect. It is also possible to think of it as an enlightened act. Well, my comment in the beginning was that it was gay leather boy look and it was because that's where Rob got the look to begin with. Even though he's not really a leather boy himself and he was not out at the time he thought the look was perfect for a rock star and thus was born the hilarious joke of all the straight metal dudes dressing like gay boys. Agreed. It does seem to me though that James deserves some respect rather than ridicule for the homage. I am assuming he understands the implications, perhaps I'm wrong. On another note, the red carpet pictures of Adam and Sauli holding hands are wonderful!! |
