[looks primly] All MY boozy lollies have itty bitty warning labels carved into the sticks - haven't you noticed?? But, yes - you're right. I better go over there right now to check his lolly stash. And if I *DO* find alcoholic lollies I'll have to confiscate them...particularly if they've already been partially licked  |

Amazon is selling Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" album for .99 cents again Thursday (May 26) taking a loss on each sale in order to drive traffic to its site. The company offered the same promotion on the album's release day Monday.
How much is Amazon losing? For every unit it sells at 99 cents, it will lose about $7.40, according to Billboard's calculation. Sad... but this time around I'm wondering if it worth the .99, sigh. I used to be fan. It's worth it! Even if you don't like the singles that sound like they would be heard in a gay-dance club, (which I personally LOVE) there are six or seven songs that sound enough like old Gaga to be worth the 99 cents. Six singles for less than the price of one regular priced single is a pretty sweet deal. You might find that you like the other, more unusual songs as well.  BTW, Universal announced this morning that Gaga's latest album has already joined the last albums from Taylor Swift, 50 cent and Lil Wayne in the 1 million debut week sales club! With this latest .99 offer and the weekend to go, it's looking like a great start for Gaga #2. |
