Well, I wish the Pulse HAC people were as on top of things as their Top 40 people!
On my own, which could be 100% wrong, I see 2 recurrents tonight plus 2 purges!

My sources for the airplay charts don't seem to come through anymore, but I think that GT might have dropped off now. Two weeks ago it was #27, but airplay has slowed down tremendous in the last few weeks. It is still being played but not daily anymore on the stations that played it. On 538 and Slam ALN is now played more than GT on average. They are however still the only stations playing it. Stations are also playing WWFM quite often. 

GT dropped off the Shazam chart last week after being on the chart for 27 weeks! ALN was #43 (from #27, peak #13).

Also GT dropped of the top 50 in Spotify yesterday after 162 days in the top 50 in the Netherlands! The peak was #11 with maximum streams of 73,680 in one day. My estimated amount of streams for the Netherlands in Spotify reached almost 8,8 million!   

Are you saying it wasn't released to radio in the Netherlands?  Every country is different.  But if it hasn't officially gone to radio in the Netherlands then when it does it may pick up again, or if they feel the song just isn't connecting maybe they change the strategy.  If you are talking about release to radio dates for any other country then that is meaningless.  Actually there really aren't "release" dates to radio as once the songs are available for sale any radio station can play them if they want.  Radio dates are "impact" dates and that is really just the label saying "we'd really like for everybody to jump on board at this point" not really any kind of hard line.  Radio can add or spin anytime before or after that date that they want. 

Ghost Town kind of hung on maybe longer than they really expected an it's possible that maybe they have backed off of ALN temporarily to allow GT to get out of the way.  GT has just this week really dropped down on Spotify plays so maybe now ALN will be ramped back up.  Or if they decide the metrics don't show that ALN has connected they may change the strategy completely.  This is something that WBR in each country has to manage.  The only thing fans can do is interact positively with stations that play the song, stream it, and shazam it but more importantly SHARE it with friends and acquaintences, put it on your playlists on streaming services, etc. 

From some of the things Shosh has said recently and some things in articles it looks like the industry is focusing less on the "big splash" and more on longevity.  They all seem VERY happy with how things played out with GT so I'm really not worried at this point and trust that his team knows what they are doing.
