[/quote] I wonder if any fashion people attached to Adam ever look at the serious marketing potential of some of Adam's fashion choices? Seriously....if you made a t-shirt, complete with attached key necklace embossed image and sold something like the t-shirt with the lock embossed on another..and then display them side by side...you would sell them both individually and as pairs to friends/couples. They would fly off the table so fast they would not be able to keep up. Either would be the first Adam t-shirt I would buy and wear proudly!! Just think....

And unless he traveled by Rocket, no way he could be in Canada yet!

Just a few points of clarification.... RCA and Jive are both part of the RCA/Jive Label Group and both reported up to Barry Weiss until March 2011. The brand name on the album is almost the only difference left. There is no "winners contract" with 19M -- the management is the same. There are provisions in the Idol Finalist contract specifically for the winner, #2, #3, and so on. These are public. (The Disney sponsorship and debut record advance are part of this.) There are some promotional opportunities that the winner gets because sponsors want the Idol winner. Ford ads are an example of this. I do not know if NY Michael ever revealed his true ID but my conclusion was that he was a minor music industry exec -- maybe an A&R rep -- but I do not believe that he works/worked for Sony. Some of the things he posted do not match with things that I know first hand. We (the former nymichael.com members) do know the true identity of NYMichael - PM me if interested. As far as the internet shows - he owns his own company and is not part of SONY...The size or outreach of his business is something we did not look into... probably minor... I was a member for of nymichael.com and agreed with a lot of what he posted. In fact I had a fair amount of online conversation with him when he openly disagreed with my "Black Swan" article. [I still think that we were right and that Adam is a Black Swan -- and the lack of press or discussion about Adam attending Idol with his boy friend and holding hands on the red carpet for photographers just proves the point.
Just compare the "green Adam" nonsense online from March 2009 to the lack of issue last week.]I did not agree with some of the things he posted about Adam and how well he would do internationally. I think he set up fans for some disappointment by overstating how much demand or awareness the was of Adam outside of the traditional Idol countries -- US, Canada, NZ, AU, Philippines, and Southeast Asia. For example, take Japan. He posted that there was big demand fro Adam there. I was not hearing the same thing from people on the ground in Japan in 2009. Yes, Adam can build a fanbase there but it will take time and he was hardly known there from Idol. Adam will has be have some bigger hits to be a huge star in Japan. There has never been a global star from Idol. Kelly came the closest so far but really her success is mostly in English-speaking countries and she failed to build on the success of her 2004 album. Adam IMO is the only artist from Idol who can do it -- but it will not be easy and it will require a great album. Note: If Carrie put out a pop album and moved from country, she would have a shot. There is no sign she is interested in doing this.In any case, I have faith that Adam will become an important artist and produce work that matters -- that will be remembered in 20 years. But that is not the kind of work that comes from an Idol debut album. It rarely comes from an artist's debut album. And, actually, it is sad when an artist peaks on their debut and never matches that level again. I do not want or expect that to happen to Adam.

yep unbelievable from the Finnish press, they should check their facts LOL Iltalehti, facts again. How convenient for Adam, just flights from LA to Moscow, then to Canada, and then to Helsinki... maybe the press invented a time machine

nica575It seems that the first info about Ritz were not correct since these pics say Adam leaving Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow Hotel, but this is also a luxury hotel. I've seen some pics and the indoors pool and spa are amazing! Good for him he deserves it!!!

LindaG23Yes there is Linda. And your avi is stunning!!!! I love this photo, posted it earlier to this thread and I was going to add a comment about how great this black background was for Adam, his position and those tears and the look on his face. Got distracted by a phone call, and forgot it. And puff the pic went away. Thanks Linda for choosing this for your avi. It's great.

I think the Ritz info was purposeful disinformation.
Is there confirmation that Adam flew to Canada? Probably headed to LA if he did.
ETA: Oh I get it -- that is from the mixed up Finnish article! HA HA!
