I have confirmed that Mark Ronson is in London. But for all we know, Adam stopped in London to go to what sounds like amazing party.
Guess we will find out when he tweets.

But, but Q3 Allison has run a marathon. She trained and did the LA Marathon. Oh, you are right. : : : Let me try again -- I do not think Kelly Clarkson is a NY Yankees fan. ETA: New smilies added to the sidebar set.

Kris sounded rather country in that video. Is that the direction he is going? Or just the way that particular song is? Great to hear that Adam and Kris spent some time talking and catching up during commercial breaks at the idol finale. Mys*&@^#r, was that you that reported seeing them talking in the audience when they could? peace&love That's a very country song. I thought he did a really nice job. Good for him and Pia. That is a huge live audience (usually hundreds of thousands, according to several web sites--I've been there and it's big) plus the TV audience.

Adam did a beautiful job at the Marine base in San Diego and that's about as gung ho, "ra, ra America" as one can get! And more recently, he did an appearance at a military base while on the Glam Nation tour. uh.. oh.. could you please refresh my rusty memory.. which military base he made an appearance at? He was at Fort Lewis, Washington the day of the Puyallup concert. Didilynnpf, rjackspf and I were there. It was a wonderful experience!

The one tweet mentioned Adam being able to "Saaang". Is Adam part of the entertainment? Where is the band? I am sure Adam mentioned singing SSB for Laker games on several occasions during a joint interview with kris/Allison just after making top 36. They asked him about largest crowd he had sung for. Allison had also done it.

I can't find any reference to Adam singing the SSB for a Lakers game. Kris has, post Idol.

I just need to whine a bit -- why is Adam Lambert the only major Idol finalist to not be asked to sing the national anthem at a sports event or holiday? We know he can sing it. Maybe he doesn't want to sing it but I really doubt that. I know this isn't what you want now, but take it as a bit of Adam trivia. that was really nice but I honestly can't see Adam doing something like that. Given his families very liberal political views it could be a case that Adam's just not as gung-ho on "America" as other, more southern, traditional/conservative previous idols are.
Q3 I'm glad it was YOU who made the statement. I totally agree that generalizations like that are not fair to either side. Many of my friends are diehard liberals but are retired military or support the military wholeheartedly. Sometimes conservatives tend to voice it more or support certain causes or the armed forces right or wrong where liberals tend to want guidelines mapped out, but even that is a bit of a generalization.
I'm not sure why Adam has either not been invited or not chosen to sing at these events, but my guess it is more to do with how he is perceived, the eyeliner, the leather, the glitter, not anything sinister. It could also be that it is not something he wants to do so the label has not approached TPTB. It's not as if these things just happen, they are usually initiated by the label or management. Sometimes it is the sponsoring group, the Super Bowl committee for instance might have someone in mind or a hometown boy or girl is asked, but if it was something Adam felt slighted about, I'm sure it would happen.
Adam's working on rounding out his image now, less glitter, more leather of the edgy but still rock star next door kind, so all or some of the acceptance may come with the next album. If not, I doubt it will keep him up at night. He'd find it more bothersome if he were snubbed at Fashion Week or VH1 than sporting events I'd say.
