I appreciate the kind welcomes from butterfly, SophieB, adamrocks, freakydeaky and nica575. I have a question: How is the open venue for New Year's Eve heated? Or is it? The temperature may be well below freezing. It seems to me an outdoor venue is a strange choice for Dec/Jan.

The New Years gig is in Singapore..... www.guidemesingapore.com/relocation/introduction/climate-in-singaporeSingapore usually witnesses a minimum of 23-26 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 31-34 degrees Celsius. Based on climate records since 1929, the lowest temperature recorded till date has been 19.4 degrees Celsius on January 31, 1934 and the highest was on March 26, 1998 at 36 degrees Celsius.

So if Adam doesn't want to copy Freddie and he likes shoes, maybe he could consider a shortless with shoes performance..?

Oh, you don't want to see what she's posted! Just a lot of Adam's hips bumping and grinding...... I don't want to cause any trouble, but it was Nic that started it....

Thought Adam looked and sounded a little weary but somehow this gave him an extra dose of gravitas! He was thoughtful and lucid - and so nice to have interviewers who treated him as an intelligent adult - no chance of playing 'whose bottom is this?' today....( or whatever that game was...lol!) And his voice/manner/intellect are so removed from what the casual listener might have anticipated a 'pop star' interview to be. I'm sure that would have piqued interest in 'new' listeners. There was the 'gay' thing but i felt it was handled with respect and in context of the wider world in which he is making his mark; didn't enter the discussion as just something to throw in, as it so often seems to.... Agreed... I'm always amazed at Adam's stamina but sometimes I do wonder if his spirited soul can keep up. If he was tired or felt a little weary, I wouldn't blame him, but it is tricky to make judgements from a possibly unflattering angle during an interview that likely occurred early in the morning. The BBC one was one of the best I have seen in a while. And I think if the "gay" status is treated with sincerity it's a good thing. That's part of who Adam is and a way for audiences to connect.
