Take a look at who we think could play some of the seminal figures in Freddie Mercury's life with Queen and beyond in the upcoming movie. Bruno Mars as Michael Jackson: While we don't know if he truly has the acting chops, the massive star certainly bares a resemblance to MJ in his 70s and 80s days, and It's clear to see that he's got the moves to pull it off. Only a screen test would tell if he could harness the identity of a truly one of a kind individual, though. Only a screen test would tell if he could harness the identity of a truly one of a kind individual, though. Adam Lambert as Adam Lambert: Just in case they decide to incorporate a Back To The Future angle to spice up the music biopic, we think Lamber should play himself and perform his own stunts when he and Freddy battle it out for frontman privileges. This is a speculative exercise, no one said we couldn't play with the space-time continuum.Ezra Miller as John Deacon: Look, we're not saying we made this casting choice on hair style alone. There are other things to consider, like how Ezra Miller has made his career of off playing secondary characters well. In some ways, playing bass is like the secondary character of a band. James Franco as Bono: For the infamous run in with Freddie at Live Aid, we've opted for James Franco to play the U2 frontman. Franco's talents are probably better saved for a Jeff Buckley or Jim Morrison biopic, but who says he can't moonlight as a throwaway Bono? His accent doesn't even need to be that good. Tilda Swinton as David Bowie: If you need convincing that this is a spot-on casting decision, just check out the video for 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)'. We're holding out for a note for note recreation of 'Under Pressure' using the actors' voices. Tobey Maguire as Bill Reid: There's an air of mystery that sounds Freddie Mercury's ex-lover. Tobey Maguire would fit this role for two reasons, his career is still mysteriously flourishing and he has what my Mum would call, a kind face which he'll need considering the compassionate role Reid played in the Queen story. Isaac Newton as Brian May: Revisiting the time travel concept, we figured that since our casting decisions will probably end in a complete massacring of the Queen legacy, we should do something absolute amazing to get people in those cinema seats and money in our pockets. Punters are going to see a film casted by the people who brought Isaac Newton back from the dead. But seriously - Aidan Turner as Brian May: The star of The Hobbit, Poldark and Being Human does have somewhat of a resemblance to Mr May, and we don't doubt his ability to grow out a perm and put on an impressive English accent. He certainly has the intensity to play the space and badger-loving guitar hero. Tags: Queen and Adam Lambert, Adam Lambert, Queen Photo: WENN Ben Wishaw will be playing Freddie Mercury in the much anticipated movie about the influential Queen musician's life and his tragic death, with Gemma Arterton confirmed as his long-term partner Mary Austin and Johnny Flynn set to play Roger Taylor. What other actors could capture the magic behind the songs and stories of Queen? For the other figures that played a prominent role in the Queen singer's life, there is little news on casting choices. We thought we'd take a look at the possible candidates to play some pretty big roles, from Brian May to Michael Jackson to Freddie's micophone stand and beyond. Here are our totally speculative casting choices for the Queen Freddie Mercury Movie.

I appreciate the kind welcomes from butterfly, SophieB, adamrocks, freakydeaky and nica575. I have a question: How is the open venue for New Year's Eve heated? Or is it? The temperature may be well below freezing. It seems to me an outdoor venue is a strange choice for Dec/Jan. The New Years gig is in Singapore..... www.guidemesingapore.com/relocation/introduction/climate-in-singaporeSingapore usually witnesses a minimum of 23-26 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 31-34 degrees Celsius. Based on climate records since 1929, the lowest temperature recorded till date has been 19.4 degrees Celsius on January 31, 1934 and the highest was on March 26, 1998 at 36 degrees Celsius. Which in USAmerican ( ) means the average temperature in Singapore in Dec/Jan is 80 o F, so perfect for an outdoor concert.

I'm always amazed at Adam's stamina but sometimes I do wonder if his spirited soul can keep up. If he was tired or felt a little weary, I wouldn't blame him, but it is tricky to make judgements from a possibly unflattering angle during an interview that likely occurred early in the morning. The BBC one was one of the best I have seen in a while. And I think if the "gay" status is treated with sincerity it's a good thing. That's part of who Adam is and a way for audiences to connect. Oh, I didn't think it was an unflattering angle! I'm one of those that loves that view of his perfect profile; thought he looked extra cuddlable and sexy and real.... Watched the interview again and it was even better. Love that he could just be the man he is. To be honest, I think that probably none of their regular audience would have 'seen' this at all. To me 5live is the BBC sport radio channel and that's all I ever turn it on for: tennis; cricket; Formula 1...... if I'm travelling while an event is going on. I was really surprised to see this scheduled. Obviously they also do stuff that I never realised . That said, I thought it was a wonderful interview and it might just have given a lot of sporty folk a surprising insight into who it was that rocked NYE this year .

We're searching for the NEXT #BreakoutBand! Enter to WIN an audition with Warner @wbr A&R: buff.ly/1MNOW2q Adam to judge Interesting... Adam as a "judge". This competition confuses me though -- I expected the prize to be a Warner record deal, but instead, it is just an offer to perform in front of Warner talent scouts, and another offer to promote one of the winners' songs nationwide.
