See, I don't get people like this. He's not good, he's not delusional, and he's not funny. I hope they excoriate him. ETA: Did he make Paula sick? I'm getting a crush on LA. "That was offensive. Get him out of the building." OK guys... I managed to watch most of X-Factor tonight (pacific time) but I actually missed this guy. I came back to the TV just as Paula was coming back to the judging table after feeling sick or something. I know he was a ghastly singer, but wtf did he *do* that was vulgar/offensive? Crotch grabbing? Can somebody please tell me what happened???

Well... I actually enjoyed watching X-Factor tonight, although I'm glad I missed the pants-down guy. : Sad that Cheryl Cole is gone, though... She is totally adorable, and I always liked her a lot on the UK version. I think she's way better than that Nicole Scherzinger person, who seems way more ditzy and incoherent than Paula ever was. And, I know y'all hate her, but believe it or not, I really liked that Stacey Francis!!! She was srsly all over the map with her voice, but I think she was really nervous and had a lot of ~emotions going on... I think she'll be better when/if she settles down a bit and gets control of her pipes. I loved that pizazzy bright little 13-yr-old girl at the beginning, and also the African-American guy (was it Marcus?). He was awesome!! And the guy they closed the show with... the ex-druggie trash collector who'd completed rehab? His singing was a bit weird for me, but like Cookie said, "There's a sweetness about his toughness," and that translates really well on TV.

I've been thinking about the 13 yr old and I do think she has talent. Hopefully they'll start giving her voice lessons that will serve her well even if she doesn't win.
My TV turned itself off and I fumbled with the remotes for a while before I could get it back on. I didn't think it recorded stupid full nekked frontal and ass guy, but it did. About 20 min of him bouncing around and around with an X over his privates singing a made up ditty that was probably off key but who knows. This guy got more on-air time than 99.994% of the other contestants.
We learned from Idol that contestants should never sing Stevie Wonder but one guy did and I thought he did it well. I keep thinking about people that audition and can sing one song and then can never quite sing anything else.
That last guy must be there for the back-story drama. They're expecting him to fail in his sobriety during sweeps week, despite the X-Factor's best humanitarian efforts. Call me cynical.

Guy sang and dropped his pants full view of privates. I like the show, Paula looks great, not liking Nicole that much, though. But I don't get why they need to show this guy AT ALL, they (judges) could have stopped the audition, better yet, not show any of it on TV. Oh ya, I forgot, shock factor. :

Damn, I should have logged in last night. Iw atched the X-Factor but wasn't blown away. In fact, when Stacey Frances the older women who sang Natural WOman finished singing, and the held the camera on her running mascara, I had to turn it off, enough dramatics. THen I caught the Mr. Stud contestent, OK WTF!!! He can drop his pants but to let him continue on and on, way toooooooo much. Were there young people in the audience?? I would have been annoyed. The exposure added nothing to his performance ump.... and the last contestent did nto blow me away. He wrote his own song correct? The song was good but his voice did nothing for me just mediocre. sorry.
Will I watch next week? maybe if nothing else is on but right now I prefer the "Voice"

Will I watch next week? maybe if nothing else is on but right now I prefer the "Voice" They not only let it go on and on, but they chose to include it in the show. Remember, this was not live. It was taped weeks ago, edited, and this is what the producers chose to show us. BTW, my hubby said the guy most likely had something on and the show was just playing it up as if he was completely naked. 1) He would get arrested for indecent exposure 2) If there were children in the audience ( and there were) he could be considered a sex offender. The whole fake drama of the show was repulsive! And they hardly showed any contestanst that actually made it through! I did like the last guy. He has a unique tone to his voice and he sang and rapped, which is unusual. If he doesn't fall apart, he could go far. The 13 year old was adorable and the 42 year old lady has potential. Marcus was cute, but I was not overly impressed.
