Again, tonight was a bit of a mess for me... certain contestants were pimped, and we heard more of them, but with others we heard NOTHING AT ALL. Then, when they were making the FINAL choices, they spent so much time doing each of the girls, then they rushed so fast through the boys I couldn't even figure out who they'd chosen... Tim, Josh, Marcus, and Chris got through... and Tiger, too? (oh, wait... Josh is in the over-30 group, right? Oh, and Tiger is over 30 as well.) They're all okay... Marcus is so cute, I wanna take him home with me. I think they put Caitlyn through because she's so drop-dead gorgeous... I didn't think her voice was anything special. And I lmao that Simon had his way, and Tiah got through... The cameras constantly played up the stern unimpressed faces on Paula and what's-her-name (oh yeah, Nicole) every time Tiah was on stage... while Simon pretty much had his tongue hanging out. I still think Melanie has the strongest, purest voice of the bunch. But, animated, I love little Drew, too! And Jazzlyn has potential, I think. The over-30 group consists of Elaine (who the fuck is Elaine???), and Tiger, LeRoy, Josh, Christa (wtf is *she*), Dexter, and Stacey, and some guy called James??? I do not envy Paula coping with the group category, especially when all those kids were brought back at the end and randomly thrown into two new groups... I mean, one of those new groups had like 10 members!!! One thing I'm already sick of is constantly hearing the back stories. DNW anymore time wasted with back stories.

Josh reminds me of Meatloaf.
I enjoyed last nights show but hated all the background recaps.

OT... a friend just sent me this: ============================================== Emmanuel did an amazing job with "Imagine" - I was in tears when I first saw this on XFACTOR Australia .....Yoko Ono acknowledged his performance at the imaginepeace.com website, Yoko wrote, “Thank you, Emmanuel. You sang beautifully! Thank you. John would have been proud of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you”, love Yoko. His mum, Moria Kelly is an amazing person - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moira_Kelly_%28humanitarian%29Natalie (the blonde judge) said " It just makes everything you worry about seem so pathetic" Very humbling!

I would dearly love to see that documentary, "A Compassionate Rage," even though it was made 10 years ago. Women like Moira make my life seem pretty pathetic. :-/

I first heard about her last year with the separation of Trishna and Krishna - two cranially co-joined twins from Bangladesh . OT - but if you're interested in a moving story here is the link to a multi part YouTube (from a TV program Extraordinarily People) about the twins and Moira INSPIRING!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0DitrQljc8&feature=related

WHOA!!! Look at all the posts about X-Factor!!! : OK, is it so boring/such a let down that the entire subject has been abandoned??? LOL I was amazed that Pharell (sp?) is working with Paula! Man, he looks so incredibly YOUNG!!! And how weird/creepy is it that the girls have to stand there and sing to Simon sitting there all by himself on his brocade throne couch, with his damned sunglasses on, so you can't even see one teeny bit of expression/emotion on his face. ewwwww.... It's like they're singing to a pair of sunglasses. Well, Simon showed a tiny bit of enthusiasm after impossibly-beautiful Caitlyn sang a very meh song. He and his musician buddies were all salivating together. : And then you have Nicole, tossing her acres of hair... taking advantage of the flattering evening sun on her face... with a discreetly placed tear drop trickling with deadly precision down her cheek as Dexter tried to sing with a backup track that was so overpowering, nobody could even hear him... I dunno... this whole set up is kinda creepy, with the contestants singing under these conditions. When does the actual mentoring start??? Does it start after four acts are eliminated in each of the groups? I mean, there was sure no mentoring going on tonight. Do we give up until the live performances start? **SIGH**
