Well I kind of already know who goes home, well between the boys and the over 30's, cause people were saying spoilers on twitter. But don't know who else is going. But question, when do the public starts voting? public voting begins next week - final 12 |

Marie23, etal - Yes it was great, thought about this thread towards the end of the show, so waited to comment - Good show overall, some good talent - I won't jump in with spoilers either - But the over 30's and the girl's IMO brought the best of show.

I have to say that was the most painful 2 1/2 hrs I have every spent watching a TV show....sheesh How in the hell did half of these people even get on this show.. Can't believe the 5 that were sent home tonight even got to take up space for the live show.. I really feel bad for a few of the ppl that didn't get a shot.. I really don't know if I can watch it again...  |

I'm sorry but the production on X-factor kicks all of those other reality shows behind! Lmao, not even worrying about the singing. But I do have to say that the stage presence of these contestants are like wow. American Idol looks like amateurs compare to these folks.
Even though they're doing live performance, I rate a lot of the contestants performance ability on par with a lot of the pop/r&b/rap etc., stars on awards show that are out there right now.

I really hate that whole amateur, and awe-shucks contestants that are so abundant on AI. |

I'm a little behind. I thought Astro killed it. He is better than easily half the rappers they play on KIIS-FM (that aren't the Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kanye ilk). He was really good.
I thought Chris Rene was horribly off key and the cute guy (Stefano lookalike) had much more personality and Simon was right, what's with that hokey 40-year-old song (though I do enjoy the song in the right context), but they were trying to prove he could be a relevant pop artist, not a 60s lounge lizard.
Got sidetracked and didn't hear Paula's first band that they raved about ...

really marie?!! I think the production value in this show hides the fact that only a handful of the contestants can sing on pitch....I agree with Seashell and found it painful to watch except for the few I mentioned upthread.
hate the setup...hate the host (give me Seacrest anyday)....hate the bitching between the judges...cuz, it IS bitching. Yuck.

Marie23 - I found the show entertaining; I'm a sucker for these things. If you haven't seen the girls yet, you are in for a show from two of them plus the judges.
