I was reading the comments under the Voice's video of the performance, and some are already saying he has the "best" voice to come out of one of these singing competition shows and the next best thing to Freddie.. how quickly they forget! :-/ Evidently even though Adam has been fronting Queen for years now, his visibility is still under the radar for some.. maybe many. I guess a few Glamberts could kindly and respectfully "remind" The Voice viewers about Adam Lambert's performance of STL with Queen. To be fair, Jordan only got to sing a portion of the song. Adam gets to make it a big theatrical production. But there is no comparison to the vocals. Jordan is really good, but Adam gives the song not only a stellar vocal treatment but also a big dose of personality, winking humor and larger-than-life vibe that really suits the song. Come on, Voice viewers, take a look at this song in the hands of the master, AKA Adam Lambert.

It's hard to believe that in 2015, almost 2016, the industry still has such a homophobic mindset. It's almost laughable if it wasn't so sad.

That's right. She's an awesome photographer and a total sweetheart, just like her mom Laurie who films the TALC vids! Both are delightful!

Speaking of Adam's eating.....lol. I wish I could motivate myself to eat like he does. Seems he would get hungry w/o many or any carbs....lol. I guess the protein helps with the hunger.

Yup you're right about blander artists ,but hopefully that will make Adam even more unique and popular with his REALLY LIVE concerts.. Yep. I like this girl. Don't know if I would like an entire album, but perhaps as part of a playlist of like singers. Something about her. But I could also see how some could call her bland. Not sure if there is a place in the pop market for her. I've been thinking about the "blandness" of current pop stars, too, but I never really say so because I don't want to come across as close-minded or completely Adam-centric. My sister is an example of someone who likes all her music somewhat bland and smooth with no rough edges. Too much "edge" just makes her uncomfortable.. She's likes Adam well enough but doesn't follow him. He's way to unconventional for her. Dare I even say that I think Adele, Sam Smith, Ed Sherran, etc. are rather bland. There I Said It! LOL. They have lovely voices, for sure, but not enough playfulness for me. Sometimes, too much pretty is just too much pretty. A DJ in my area had a guest of some sort (not a singer) and they had fun deciding who was the "saddest" singer, Adele or SS. It was very funny and kind of hit home. They both have really really good voices. I like Adele but she's kind of like eating a bowl of applesauce. It's sweet and goes down easily, but there's nothing to bite into.

Went back and listened again - still unimpressed - my ears were hearing flat-sounding notes, and the growl-y stuff at the end - not good. Maybe he'll be big, who knows? It's probably the most fickle business in the world and I certainly do not represent

Just had the chance to watch the performance of STL by Jordan and yay!! He does it right! It must be such a good feeling being a contestant on one of these shows, singing a notoriously difficult song, done well by a lot of other people, and then showing everybody what you can do. He sure can sing, I hope he will get somewhere and find his own voice after the show.
I find it sort of amusing that people (also non-fans) are starting with the 'Adam Lambert legal disclaimer' now on twitter every time somebody sings a Queen song. Adam has really carved a place for himslef, by going on and refusing to give up in the face of criticism. Unfair criticism, a lot of the time. I do remember vivdly how very annoying it was when Adam got the FLD all the time though, so in the end I hope that everybody can just enjoy the music.

Adam posted a link on Facebook about his year on Spotify: 17 million people listened for 850 years of time to Adam Lambert. You can also check out your own play's through that link. Apparently I streamed GT 37,149 times!
That's only 0,4% of the streams in the Netherlands though. Total Adam Lambert for me is 51,689 plays!
