I kinda figured he was making that accent from the facial expression in the still photo. What accent is it, deep south?? Lawd NO! ???? Think Hillbilly like George Clooney in Oh Brother Where ArtThou. Hahaha, oops, sorry I'm useless! Love that film though...

Some comments on The Voice's Jordan Smith performance of Somebody To Love: 1. His coach is Adam Levine who I have never liked since his comment years ago putting down Adam Lambert without mentioning his name. 2. Jordan's comment about him being a fan of Freddie Mercury. 3. The rendition Jordan performed on 12/7 of Queen's Somebody To Love is very, very similar to Adam Lambert's and not even close to a Freddie Mercury performance. 4. Jordan has been likened to Adam Lambert due to his vocal range. 5. The iTunes sales apparently have even beat Adele's sales since the performance. 6. Just wish credit to Adam Lambert would have been given. Levine is probably trying to set up Jordan for a call from Queen. 7. Levine's reputation is not of being a very nice person to people who serve him, fans, etc. This is a planned move by Levine to disrespect Adam Lambert in my humble opinion. Hi there, I sort of feel compelled to respond to this because I disagree with a lot of these points. Honestly I don’t think Adam Levine gives Adam Lambert a thought. I don’t believe he’s out there actively trying to disrespect him; there is absolutely no reason to do so. Also, re the comment that Levine made years ago on the Voice – if I recall correctly he praised a contestant for his rendition for WWFM saying he thought it was probably better than the original. Levine had no idea who sang the original, and he wasn’t even familiar with the original. IMO it was never any kind of deliberate diss to Adam, it was simply an ignorant comment. But many Glamberts quickly jumped on board the “offended on Adam’s behalf” train, and away it went. I haven’t listened to Jordan’s rendition of STL, so I cannot say whether it seems to be influenced by Freddie vs Adam. If the contestant has been inspired by Adam, then sure, it would be nice of him to say so, but it’s not a requirement. And I certainly can’t even wrap my head around that somehow being Levine’s fault. I’m not commenting on Levine’s character in general. Maybe he’s a total jerk, maybe not. But I don’t think he’s being a jerk in these particular situations. I’m sorry if it seems like I’m piling on you here. Everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions, and I just wanted to express a different view. Q3 - I will be deleting the whole conversation so please do not continue on with replies. Way off topic A.
