nica575 where do you see a Twitter followers stagnation? He's still gaining quite some per week and not less that before. The increases aren't getting higher though although there are occasional weeks where the followers get in faster. Exactly. The rate of growth is NOT increasing AND staying at a very LOW average of about 400/day . IDK what period of time this average is over, but regardless 400 is almost nothing imo...I compared to Shawn Mendes (just because of the Buffalo event) and he has on average over 9K/day growth. On Sunday, Dec, 13th he gained 14,379 followers vs 467 for Adam. twittercounter.com/adamlambert/weeklytwittercounter.com/ShawnMendes/weeklyI fully understand this is a very superficial "analysis"...For instance I see something called "worldwide ranking" where Adam is #307 and Shawn is #491 despite the fact that Shawn has about 2.3 Mil more followers. I have no access to any indepth data needed to do proper research, so I am looking at one and only one data point - additional followers... pure quantity, nothing else... IMO growth of a couple of hundred/day is not what should be happening at this stage... It is interesting to me that the coveted exposure to several thousand tweenies in Buffalo resulted in no additional growth (UNLIKE RIO with its young adult/mature adult audience!) ...Obviously, one sample is not much, but nevertheless I am inclined to think that the Buffalo "reaction" would be "typical" for Adam and his wider appeal is just not reaching the screaming girls who find the likes of Biebs/Mendes/etc attractive... I am not sure why Twitter "situation" is being ignored here... I assume the reason is that it is not rosy, and as a community here we tend to avoid the "negative" topics...Nevertheless the fact are out there and probably affect his "marketing power", etc... If anyone can talk me into seeing this differently - please do! I wouldn't worry. I don't think the young generation is that into Twitter. SnapChat is more popular. mwpartners.com/snapchat-is-now-the-third-most-popular-social-network-among-millennials/

Twitter followers have never been folliwed closely in this thread. It's always been radio and sales. IDK why. Yay on the adds! WLHT & WHBC are new stations, i think! Have not been on the starters list yet!

I wouldn't bother worrying about twitter followers unless he started loosing them steadily. I don't remember radio shows ever causing twitter spikes in the past. That usually would and has recently happens for TV performances or sometimes after controversial tweets. Steady constant growth is a GOOD thing. I suspect that Adam (or someone) cleans out the bots because he has always rated high on the "real" followers reports.
As for the building chart today is the first day of the week so only one day's spins in the chart so songs that have a high spin count on Sunday's start off ranked higher. #50 was at 128 spins. ALN wasn't on the building chart on the first day last week either. So all I could do for spin counts for Sun & Mon was divide the total by 2. Last week the total on the 2nd day was 219. Last week #50 was at 120 spins so it had to be less than that and with only a +1 update this week the spin count for ALN can't be any more than 120. More than likely it will show up on tomorrow's building chart.
Here's the detail for today.

LOL! So other top pop guys and gals are growing their followers in many thousands a day and you (collective you) decide to ignore the huge difference because it's "passe"? IF Adam were to grow at 26k/day as LG is doing would you've had the same attitude? Snapchat is the new big thing now...OK.. Do we know how Adam is doing there? I just started using it so I have very little feel for the app... google tells me there is some kind of "score":" Your Snapchat score is a special equation combining the number of Snaps you've sent and received, Stories you've posted, and other factors." I can't find any way to track the number of friends for anyone but myself... Instagram was mentioned as the most popular app in the linked article. Adam has 765K followers, Shawn has 6.2 Mil...(picking on Shawn again 8-) )... OMG! Now I am going to worry about all these apps and their indicators as well I think the point is that I see very little evidence of popularity growth despite excellent efforts on everyone's part - Adam's, his team's, ours.... I sure hope I am wrong! If the majority here doesn't want to discuss these indicators and just prefers to stick to sales/streaming/radio numbers then so be it.

But what could we do anyways to help him gain Twitter followers? I seem to remember that in some analysis it was found that Adam's percentage of real Twitter followers (as opposed to boys and ghosts) is much higher than many artists, including Beiber. imo nothing...it is what it is... yup, Q3 did have some data showing the high % of "good" followers... may be that's why his "world ranking" is pretty high relative to the 2.5 mil followers...

Honestly, IMHO, I think the best way to move things along is to focus on getting spins. We can't control how many followers Adam has etc etc. but we can work harder on regularly requesting on the stations that allow us to even from out of area. That alone takes a whole bunch of time. In my own experience, the best antidote to angst is to act. Not meant to be critical or anything. We all go there but let's put that concern and energy to positive use.
