Thanks to everyone for the recaps! So glad you had a great time, adamrocks! Thank you. Adam's maturity and star power keeps growing and I already thought his star power and performances were from another planet! I can't explain it but I feel there is something about Adam on stage now....something so special...professional and charismatic as always..but there is an added dimension that puts him on a completely other level than any of his peer performers. Does anyone who has seem Adam perform recently know what I'm talking about? He puts his entire  and being into all that he does. |

Does anyone who has seem Adam perform recently know what I'm talking about? There's an ease and a confidence; and I think part of it comes from his terrific backing instrumentalists. After listening to last night's delicious performance - and yes, his vocals were the clearest and most effortless I've ever heard (must watch WWFM again and again!) - I couldn't get over the arrangements and the beauty of the backing 'piano' notes; the easy bass; the ebb of the drums; and the fire of the guitarist. They supported and displayed Adam perfectly! I've always felt that 'other worldliness' from Adam when he performs; but when he talks or has a M&G he morphs into 'one of us'; albeit a gorgeous, intelligent, witty example! Two weeks ago, in Phoenix, the moment he walked out we were gloriously transported by his presence. Someone with this power is not someone to worry about! He is on his way. I guarantee it! As my birthday is coming up in a few minutes I need to point out that my Forum Name has nothign at all to do with queen. It is a reference to the(my) once aponatime student days when I loved Reggae and the philosophy behind that ..... crowned queens....were powerfull.... and "Al" is from Alexandra Wishing you a very happy birthday!  I was totally into Reggae in my student days. (Bob Marley, Mutabaruka, UB40) |
