OTT, but for anyone interested, there is an Adele Live in NYC TV concert special tonight followed by Michael Buble Christmas special. Just started in eastern time zone on NBC. Thank you for letting us know! Adele is amazing!! I taped both of them. OTT continue. Few days ago I heard from radio about Adele's tours. And the ticket scalpers already had their hands on those tickets and they selling them back for 100-200 levels at the price of $1500. Adele and her team have managed to save 50% of the tickets going to the scalpers. But i guess the strategy not without flaws. www.billboard.com/articles/business/6784895/adele-tickets-security-stubhub-scalpersOn the other note: OMG.. It's almost sounds like the whole Radio City becomes her choir singing Rolling in the Deep with her.

I wanted to get tickets in the US, but was on a plane when they went on sale. By the time I got home, there were NO tickets left in the 4 shows in Nashville + Atlanta. And I'm not at the point of traveling any further for anyone but Adam.
On to the Michael Buble special, I love Celine Dion, but while she was singing O Holy Night, all I could think was how much more crystal clear and ringing Adam's voice is on even just the little snippet we got from China.

Just able to pop in for a second. I had my Grandkids all day doing our traditional go to lunch, pick out their ornaments, and come home and make Christmas cookies! I am exhausted but a fun day!
But I am missing reading the threads and all the Adam news! Yikes I'll have so much catching up to do after Christmas. A couple more days of reparation then I can get back here. It's been a very busy Holiday season this year!
That new poster/pic of Adam's TOH is fantastic! So excited for the touring to begin!!
BBL.

OT but what a crazy day I've had.
It is 10:50PM and 72 degrees out and very humid here (in Tupelo, MS). Feels more like August than December. We've spend most of the day surrounded by tornadoes and with dueling tornado and big hail warnings -- all now over. Earlier today the sky here was that weird yellow-green color and ion smell that usually precedes a tornado outbreak. They opened up all the tornado shelters here, did all the prep and then we got missed. This mega storm spawned tornadoes mostly to the west of us and mostly in rural areas. I am thankful this one passed us by but am brokenhearted that so much damaged happened and that people were killed and injured by this storm.
Four hours after they called off the warnings and I am still a bit shaky-nervous that we would get hit again.
We met friends for dinner but the restaurant was almost empty because of the warnings earlier today. The mall had an empty parking lot. Even the showings of Star Wars were empty. Tupelo got hit with a major (F5) tornado in April 2014 which destroyed 2,000 homes, many businesses and churches -- people are still rebuilding and I think everyone is still very shell-shocked from it. (I think the shell-shocked people includes me.)
Now to the funny part -- there was one other table of people in the restaurant -- and the people there were celebrating because they are storm chasers and they live for weather like this.
Hopefully, it will cool off and these storms will retreat to the spring-summer where they belong. Although I guess for the storm chasers this is perfect weather. All a matter of perspective.

Power just came back on after a 5 hour outage. Was in the middle of last minute prep for holiday at brother's house so finished wrapping presents by candlelight and put the half baked batch of cookies on the counter. Will be a late night trying to make up for lost time.
Q3 - glad the storms passed you by but the devastation others experienced is heartbreaking.
