Thought:
Is it possible rumor of a Christina/Adam duet could be marketing strategy for Adam#2? It gives them both press and gets people wondering. The radio station looks good because they got the inside information. RCA gets free promotion. My second thought, was could it be a trial balloon sent out to gauge interest in the project?
Q3, What would you think of a Co-Headlining tour with Xtina/Adam? Would it make since for either? both?
933 Tampa tweets indicated that Adam-Xtina collab info did not come from RCA. My understanding is that RCA is not talking about Adam 2 at all. And that may also be a promo strategy -- not to give any info what could be on the album. Even Adam is only giving little clue and no hit about the "sound".
The promo theory is possible. But RCA would only do it IF it is real and I am certain that they have not picked the tracks yet. And it does not feel like a planned promo leak.
The trail balloon concept does not seem sensible to me. They could do research about it if they wanted to know what would happen. That is reliable. Fans on Twitter is not research and not reliable.

Adam doing his lead album single with Xtina -- I sure hope not, that would make it hard to get airplay unless it was so much better than great.
Adam touring with XTina Summer 2011 -- not my wish. I want him headlining with a great budget for production and in big enough venues to make money but not so big that it costs him money. I will wait until after Adam #2 is released for the next Adam tour.
Xtina is working on a comeback -- he last hit was "Ain't No Other Man" in 2006 which was certified Platinum.
On the concert -- I am not a fan of Adam touring with Xtina unless she is opening for him after he releases his next album. She is not bankable and I do not want to even think about Adam opening for anyone. (There is no such thing as co-headlining.)
Xtina cancelled her 20-date Summer 2010 Tour after her lead single from Bionic tanked -- it peak at #23 -- the follow-up "Woohoo" with Nickie Minaj was a flop and rejected by radio. They said that she was cancelling the tour because she had promotional commitment for Burlesque. They said they were pushing the tour to Summer 2011.
Cancelling a 20-date Summer tour because of movie promo for a movie releasing on November 24, 2010 makes no sense. It must be that they could not put the financing together and/or promoters pulled out.

Adam does a special performance on The Voice with Xtina -- and it is so great that they release it as a single and it is a surprise, non-album hit.
Then RCA releases Adam's real lead album single and it races up the chart and becomes a huge hit. He gets two hit songs on the radio at once.
And yes, I am just dreaming!! Cause this isn't happening.
MY THEORY ---
Adam will be on The Voice and that got mangled with XTina = they are doing a duet on the TV show, not on the album -- and I have no source for this.
