I think this interviewer presumes that when pop singers have their names as one of the writers, their contribution is actually very small. And that the value of the song diminishes if it wasn't written by the singer. Later he reveals that he doesn't think singers are musicians. Adam remains very calm and undefensive through it, but makes his point. Very impressive. Interesting, my response was just opposite. I thought it was great interview and one, for a change, that asked some new, risky, and interesting questions. It was already known that Sterling wrote most of GT, no surprise there. The question of what constitutes a musician is a long running debate, I liked that it was asked and liked Adam's response. I thoroughly enjoyed both the questions and the responses throughout the interview. Thanks for saying that, graciejane. After reading all the negative comments I was going to just skip that interview but after reading yours I watched it. I agree. I had absolutely no problem with that interviewer. Someone mentioned body language & that the interviewer was facing away from Adam... he was just sitting in the chair the way the chair was arranged in the cramped space &, actually, he was leaning toward Adam for much of the interview. I enjoyed the interview. Nice, chill vibe & good questions.

On the Polish interview, I am going out on a limb and say I bet Adam enjoyed that conversation. He strikes me as a guy that likes a lively challenging conversation. After enduring countless, mindnumbing interviews and stupid games where you know he had to be thinking 'I got up at the fucking crack of dawn for this shit?', this interview had fresh questions and kept him on his toes.

Hi Guys! I am Evie and I live in Rhode Island. I have been an avid reader of all the Atop threads for years and finally decided I had to meet some of you! Other than Queen online (not too friendly) I have never posted and am not really familiar with the process. I had trouble just figuring out how to post much less anything fancy. If my posts aren't quite right, that is the reason. I just purchased a ticket for Foxwoods and discovered after the fact that it was An Original High VIP experience ticket. I just wanted a front seat. Does this really mean I get photo with Adam? I still can't believe this!!! Even being front row would be awesome, but a photo would be over the moon. I have been a fan since day one on Idol and have seen him on the Idol tour, 2 GNT's, QAL (my favorite by far!!!) and just recently in Worcester. If there are any NE fans going to Foxwoods I would love to meet up. I always go alone to the concerts, since I don't know anyone who would go with me. A friend drives with me, but she doesn't partake of the concert! Her loss!! I hope to make some new Adam fans, that would be awesome. Hi evie.
To atop. Evie!

OMG! No wonder Clay is being all snippy about AI. Just for the record.... I know it makes no difference to anyone but me..... Clay was NOT in Camelot on Broadway. He was in Spamalot. It is a camp spoof of the tale of knights of the round table.
