I can just imagine the choice things Sia would have to say about Adam if that turned out to be the case. Adam tells her "nope, didn't happen, no collab planned." She then sends out to the Twitterverse that "nope, didn't happen, no collab planned," and it gets some press attention. Then Xtina turns around on Extra to unveil news about the collab, in an appearance taped on Friday? I just don't see that happening. I'd put more credence in the theory (not much, but a little more) if it hadn't been for Adam's text.
I do have to admit, though, that the failure of any "official" debunking of this rumor is interesting. Maybe everyone concerned is just sitting back and enjoying the press attention and flailing. But if RCA, Team Adam and Team Xtina don't decide to arrange something after seeing so much positive reaction, I suspect it'll never, ever happen. It would be great if all this at least resulted in a duet between the two of them on "The Voice" - although depending on how long Adam is planning to work in Europe, it might not be possible for him without a lot of unintended travel and other inconvenience.

I appreciate that 933FLZ is taking such an interest in Adam. Great PR. IIRC, they were one of the first stations to give WWFM big support. They played the schitzu out of that song. Hope they do the same with Adam2. They are one of the most supportive stations for Adam (and many other Idols over the years.) They were an early adder for WWFM (11/30/09) and played it for months. They were also part of that initial promo deal that RCA cut and got Adam as a host at their 2009 Jingle Ball. All of the early adders got a promo deal from RCA. 933 FLZ has also been a good source of info for music news over the years. The often get news first and have had a few real scoops. This time, I think they made a mistake because they tweeted a rumor from one source without any confirmation from anyone. I do not care if it is true or not, they should have been clearer that it was a rumor. The original tweet made it seem like they heard it from RCA (they did not) and that it was news (it was an unconfirmed rumor): 933flz 933FLZ Uhhh not sure if this is out yet but a little birdie just told us that @adamlambert has recorded a song with Christina Aguilera. 2 Jun This tweet was in the midst of reports of what they saw and heard at the NY Clear Channel meeting from the major labels and indie presentation. The context made it confusing. JMHO YMMV but it is a sad day when Perez is one of the few who get it right -- the big question is "Is it true?"

933flz played WWFM quite a bit and they seem to love Adam but they dropped IIHY very quickly once it started to peak. I don't understand because that song could have gone platinum with a little more AirPlay. It continued to outsell other songs for awhile that were getting a lot more radio play. 933flz gave Adam's concert after the Ray's some good coverage. He drew I think the biggest crowd of that concert series so I am sure they know what a draw Adam is. Oh, and Adam drew a huge crowd to that Jingle Ball and he didn't even perform! I hope this means they will support new Adam music as I was not happy about IIHY.

Farewell London!less than a minute agovia Twitter for iPhone So he finally checks in from London just in time to tell us he's leaving. Any guesses on where he's off to next? Finland perhaps? I can't believe that he will come back to LA before meeting Sauli's family.

I have thought all along that he would end of there - Out on that farm in the country where they can have some peace and quiet. Sauli had to bring those "seeds" back from London for that garden to really grow well!!!

BTW, didn't Sauli mention in the last radio interview that someone was having a BBQ on June 12 and that he would attend? If that's the case, maybe they will go to that and then head back to LA???

It would be great if all this at least resulted in a duet between the two of them on "The Voice" - although depending on how long Adam is planning to work in Europe, it might not be possible for him without a lot of unintended travel and other inconvenience. 99.9% sure that Xtina or Adam will shoot this rumor down at some point. And the "press" attention is really limited. As of now it is still an online gossip site story, Xtina is booked on Extra but that is a The Voice promo, and there is some twitter and fanboard buzz. JMHO I am not that excited about the rumored duet. I think for the past few years Xtina has demonstrated a tendency to move into a unpleasant, screamy space (example her Grammy performance www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2QhBWVjPc8 ) and I am having a hard time visualizing this as an amazing duet. If Adam could do a duet with Xtina circa 2002 -- I am there. But she just doesn't sound the same anymore. Xtina's biggest album was her debut over 12 years ago. Xtina hasn't had a hit in 5 years. Her comeback album was a flop, her 2010 tour was unbankable and cancelled last year. Her big movie, Burlesque, lost money and did not meet expectations -- even though it opened in over 3,000 theaters in the US and was heavily promoted. Her comeback attempt has been boosted by her judging slot on The Voice, which may give her a platform to rebuild her career. And can Xtina comeback? Well with Britney and J.Lo both on the charts, sure -- anything if possible. But Bionic will be a lot to recover from -- and that album is a mess. JMHO YMMV. If Adam is going to collaborate with anyone, I would rather it be a current artist who has support on Top 40 radio in the US and who can help him reach a young, male audience. My dream is that The Voice producers notice this and book Adam for the finale -- and he debuts his new single. Timing would be just about right because I think Adam should have all the tracks done soon. That means they can do the album make-up and pick the lead single by the end of the month. (NOTE: this would be a really aggressive schedule and I really do not expect a single until August. But just dreaming.) Finally, the fact that RCA did NOT mention Adam at the Clear Channel meetings indicates that they are planning a Fall single. Because if they were going to release a summer single, they would have promoed it -- at least with some talk.
