They released the video with the song. Pretty standard now for all artists. Makes sense since YT views count for sales.

That DNCE song is HOT! Probably written by that same Swedish team that worked with Adam (just heard an interview with Jonas about it on the radio) Honestly, I just wish they would ditch ALN (nothing against the song, I like it). I feel like they are just dragging out the inevitable. I also don't get why they released the video so early. Anyway, looking forward to a third single. The video actually wasn't early as the song had already gone to radio in several countries. Adam is a global artist and once you are past the first single of the album the follow ups get released at different times because the charts move at different rates in different areas. Not everything is going to be timed for the US market you know. Streaming and youtube are worldwide so why would they hold off on releasing a video for a song just because US radio wasn't ready for it.

I still hear GT almost daily on The Mix (Chicago) with no sign of ALN GT went recurrent and is getting recurrent play. That has nothing to do with whether or not a station will play the newer single. WWFM is still played on stations as well.

Spotify update:
All TOH album songs 7 day average: GT 196k (LW 201k) ALN 44.1k (LW 39.9k) TL 10.5k (LW 6.7k) TOH 7.6k (LW 7.6k) Rumors 5.4k (LW 5.5k) UG 4.7k (LW 4.7k) EITN 4.0k (LW 3.9k) TISI 3.8k (LW 3.7k) Lucy 2.9k (LW 2.8k) TIDS 2.7k (LW 2.7k) HF 2.2k (LW 2.2k) Shame 1.7k (LW 1.6k) AH 1.6k (LW 1.5k) TB 1.6k (LW 1.5k)
GT is dropping a little, while ALN and TL gained quite a lot. Increase for ALN is in the last 4 days, while TL has gaining about the whole week already. After an initial increase in streams from the start of the Australian release TOH seems to level now.
In iTunes Australian Singles charts at the moment, TOH dropped again: 169 Adam Lambert Ghost Town 778 Adam Lambert The Original High
Besides the TOH album songs also Runnin' (11.9k average), IIHY (9.5k average) and the other songs he performs have seen an increase of streams. WWFM had about the same average as last week (18.7k average).
Adam's total amount of streams this week for TOH (including remixes) is: 2,114,214 Total increase other albums this week: 612,169
ETA: GT is still getting that boost on the Saturday update in the Spanish speaking countries (Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain) + Denmark (just not during Christmas). No idea still why.

They are notoriously slow to play new songs anyway. I am optimistic about Chicago, though---major breakthrough with GT. I am confident that with the right song, he can get spins

No explanation, but EITN is the 7th song on the album. It could be casual listeners stop after a few songs and that these streams amounts are mostly fan's streaming. EITN isn't showing a real increase from the tour though. Same counts for Rumors, Underground and TISI. All these songs had a low just before Christmas and have recovered now to the amount of streams a week before Christmas. Only TL and TOH are higher now (from TOH), as are WWFM, Runnin' and IIHY.

On HAC Taylor's Wildest Dreams did go but neither Bieber or Glynne did so I am confused. I guess this means they get pulled AFTER 20 weeks which would mean next week.
Ok so I went and figured it out using the pop charts. The songs go recurrent AFTER 20 weeks in other words week #21 so Bieber & Glynne will go recurrent on HAC next Sunday.
I was counting the debut week as week one but if you do it that way then week #21 is the first week it can actually leave the chart. Makes sense because that way it has 20 weeks ON the chart. I never bothered to pay that close attention before because the Top 40 thread gives us the upcoming recurrents and I never had to count those before.
ETA: Official positions CHR #46, HAC #24

I was pretty sure Beiber and Glynne had one more week. But Yay to #24! It is still up one! ALN should pass Beiber on its own this week anyway.

Sunday Official Radio Chart update, Jan. 24th; ALN is up one on HAC to #24. Down to #46 on Top 40.
