I totally understand your feelings. Anyway, I can't wait but wonder - what do you think is better for Adam? What would he prefer? The audience to be quiet or singing showing him their passion and devotion? I really don't know. I hear you Cassie and understand your frustration but you are telling a fan who is seeing Adam for perhaps the first...or at least one of a very few times...that your wish to hear the voice, that she is filming for your pleasure [likely..but don't know that for sure] is paramount to her enjoying that concert. In all fairness, she has the right to tell you to go listen to the radio too, and honestly, she may have the moral high ground there....love you wish I could meet you in LA, but seriously, we need to keep perspective in this.... Of course I know all that. That is why I said "It's all about me." Because, obviously, it is not. And shouldn't be. I guess I should have added a "sarcasm" smiley to my comments. I know I am the outlier when it comes to my love for Adam. I don't want to go to a big rock/pop concert, stand squished among other ardent fans, dance, scream and sing along. I don't even particularly want to hear Adam singing top40 radio pop at all (heresy, I know). I would be sublimely happy to go see him in a formal concert hall with great natural acoustics, and hear him sing au naturale, with just a jazz trio for backing music, or an orchestra with no electronica. I'd love to hear him sing great American standards, a little cool jazz, some torch songs, some great numbers from theater, and even, good gawd, an aria. His voice, his technique, his interpretive ability, his emotionality are all perfect for it. But, as Adam has said, " ' Can sing' and ' Want to sing' are two different things!" The odds of seeing and hearing Adam perform as I wish are about the same as me winning the MegaMillions lottery. I see nothing wrong with a little fantasy. I see nothing wrong with jokingly commenting, from time to time, about my desires, just like other fans joke about wanting Adam to be super-raunchy and take off his shirt and other items of clothing. I wouldn't actually slit someone's throat for singing. I wouldn't even silently glare daggers at them, hoping they would get the hint and shut up. They paid their money to see Adam just as I did, and they are actually responding in the more "normal" fashion than me. And, when it comes down to it, I would fervently listen to Adam sing just about anything, any time, any where. His voice moves me that much. It's all good.
