It is so much about the luck of the draw. So much better music and choreography. Both dancers were excellent but I think other couples with that routine would also shine.
It was just a great piece.

I really agree about the luck of the draw regarding choreography. AI contestants have more control of things because they choose their own songs within a genre and have input in lighting, style, and song interpretation. And on a more shallow note--Chehon's upper body is pretty spectacular  |
