Sasha deserves to dance with the All Stars. My discomfort in voting is when the routine is so obviously weak. I just want Alex to up his game when he is performing outside his genre so that it is not so obvious that Sasha has to carry him or that Sasha fans have to save them from possible elimination. You could hear a pin drop when they announced that Sasha/Alex were safe. You are absolutely right that people should vote for their favorite dancer. I am a little concerned about any negative repercussion due to the vote. I don't think there will be any backlash but it was incredible obvious and just a little Machiavellian that they set up the elimination pairs in the way they did. The judges love Ryan and she was never in any real danger but by putting those four as the last two pairs, they were overtly pointing out the impact of voting over judging. I would not be surprised if Ryan and Ricky got the most votes of the bottom three and they could have put the weakest pairs in the last couples but the judges wanted to show that dancing/choreography is only part of the equation. I wonder if the judges are aware of Sasha's fan base especially the Adam fan base supporting Sasha? I've never watched this show before so I don't know the kind of 'games played' strategy used on it. |

I just don't get the hype about Ryan. Don't think she is one of the best girls, don't think her solo tonight was exceptional, and haven't warmed up to her personality. Wanted her to leave, but knew the judges fawn over her, so that was not going to happen.
I agree with everyone that Sasha is carrying Alex, and that Glamberts are a great asset to Sasha. If I didn't have an investment in Sasha, I think I might still have voted for the pair BECAUSE the choreography was so weak. IMO, a dancer should be voted off for a poor performance, not because they had the misfortune to have a bad choreographer or a dance style that most Americans do not appreciate. I want them to go home if they are given the best opportunities, and do not measure up to them.

I don't care for Ryan. Her dance doesn't impress me and there is something about her personality that just hits me the wrong way.

I don't get the judge love for Ryan. I know she works for one of the choreographers but please, the girl can't emote worth a darn. And their obvious bias towards her will backfire when they have no ability to save her. Ryan is mentored by Mia Michaels who has won a couple (I think) Emmy's for her choreography on SYTYCD. My take is that Mia Michaels is a dancer's choreographer and although her work is beautiful, for me it is a little too inwardly focused and maybe just a tad pretentious. Give me Sonya Tayeh any day, that woman is fierce. Anyway, Ryan's connection to Mia and the fact that Nigel is a bit of a satyr give Ryan the gorgeous blond edge, plus she is technically a very good dancer. I agree that she is not really charismatic and I personally am not drawn in by her. We'll see what happens next week. |

I am glad that Sasha dodged that bullet. However, I am not going to do a lot of celebrationg. I was conflicted about voting heavily last night because the routine was not that good. I would love for Sasha to have a more versatile partner, but the risk of being in the bottom three was too big for me. I decided to give Sasha and Alex some grace for bad choreo and a weak routine. However, I would really hate to withhold votes if they have another bad routine next week, but I will. Alex, Sasha fans and the Glamberts saved your ass last night. Get it together buddy. She only needs to survive one more week with Alex, then she gets an all star partner! Yay!! If they survived the crap choreography and Alex's dancing last night, she will survive anything. OMG! She might really win this! Isn't the prize $100,000? Can not wait to see her with the All Star partners! |

Just watched the results show. The judges just are not getting that the audience doesn't like Ryan. I hate to see Ricky eliminated because of her because he is good. Next week will be interesting.
I think Tadd and Jordan
Ryan and Ricky will again be bottom 3. They have both made bottom 3 twice alreadyy.
???The third couple???

I only caught the 15sec of sasha's dance #. But the choreography was awful and Sasha was not good. Sorry. The guest modern ballet artists # were fab. I like Sasha and her personality is adorbs. Hope she makes the top 10. But if she does, will this tour interfere w Adams upcoming future tour? It would be nice to see here back w the family.
On the other hand. I would have loved to see S*&@^#r compete here. He is a faulous dancer. I wonder why he didn't try out? I know he has another gig. I guess he needed a job sooner than later

Lyndsey Parker did backstage interviews with the 3 judges. Nigell and Mary both imply that when the couples get split, Alex (they do not name him) will be gone and they both talk about how strong and fierce Sasha is!  |
