bringing SusieF's post from the News thread: Look at the comments... I agree that Glamberts forces are mostly behind Sasha, and I am very happy for her. Perhaps I will break my vows to "never vote again unless it is for Adam", or rather I am going to consider this as "Adam related" voting - I want Adam to have the best supporting cast possible and advancing in a competition like this is some sort of retroactive validation...at least for me

They are capping it to 50 votes per IP address per week. I don't know if call in is limited.

www.tvgrapevine.com/index.php/fox/303-sytycd-2011-cast/10865-so-you-think-you-can-dance-sasha-malloryWritten by TVG Friday, 10 June 2011 So You think You Can Dance Sasha Mallory BAKERSFIELD, CA ... What would people be most surprised to learn about you? Most of the work I do on stage by myself is improv. I like my performances to have something different about it each time I step on the stage that way I can go on a little adventure as I'm performing. What choreographer do you look forward to working with? All of them. At the same time...this experience is definitely gonna be a blast and I can't wait to start. Which dancer from another season would be your dream dance partner? I can't choose - I'd be honored to dance with any of them. Which dancer from another season were you the most inspired by? I would have to say Travis. I don't know how he creates the things he does but if I ever get a chance to work with him my heart might explode..I'm pretty sure he doesn't know I exist but I think he's amazeballs.

nica, I'm not an Ivetta fan. I find her look very offputting. (Ya, shallow) I'll take the pros on DWTS any day. I do expect to see her on that show one day.

I do expect to see her on that show one day. mys*&@^#r, I know nothing of her backstory or personality...picked this performance up on YT while looking for Sasha's performances. I think that the women pros on DWTS would not be able to compete with her at all...none of them.. as far as men go - only Derek has the same breathtaking precision, passion and grace of movement as Yveta... She outshined Pasha - and he is hard to unglue your eyes from, but I found watching her and not him... obviously it remains to be seen if she can do other styles - like hip hop or any other of the "street" styles... I can see how she is a World Champ in many dances... and I can imagine that her quest for exposure on this show is to gain clients for her studio or something like that - this is totally my speculation of course... ...but like I said before - I will be voting for Sasha regardless.. BTW - why was Derek missing this past season of DWTS? ...

From the Daily thread: Q3I agree with you that Adam wouldn't be a negative association for her. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point it gets mentioned. But I don't see why they'd give Sasha more support than they gave Adam. While she is less controversial, she has more "competition" so to speak as the LGBT contestant percentage is much higher than it is on AI. Perhaps she'll get less negativity/backlash than Adam did but they'll have more than one contestant to support on that show. I like Ivetta. Ballroom is my favorite style. But I don't think she outshined Pasha. My eyes were totally glued to him and I am not one of the Pasha fangirls. That's nothing against Ivetta. It's just that Pasha is that striking. I tend to get bored easily with this show but based on the way they presented the Top 20, it looks like it's going to be a very good group of dancers. It looks like there won't be as much 'cannon fodder' as there has been in the past. If I were Sasha, I'd look for any help I could get.
