I think this interview confirms that he was offered the role of Frank-n-furter.

Awww....they included that very delicious opening scene from the London Q&A NYE gig. It sure looks like "nothing can stop him now" Could he be any more charming telling us that he didn't get "paid in cookies" and that he wants to keep some things a secret?! ILHSFM

Just because he was wearing that same shirt I went back to his GT performance on RTL Late Night back in June last year just now. This still gives me so much vibes. My god I still love that song! www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0tuMj7CnDQGT got played on a good time (6:40 pm) on 2 big Dutch radio stations today (538 and Q-music) and suddenly GT is back to just outside top 100 in Dutch iTunes (from 300+). The impact that song still makes is amazing.

OH! I love this fan art. I hope Adam. Holly, and Terrance see it! I am really enjoying Holly and Terrance on TOH tour. They work so well with Adam!

There have always been folks who want to tell other folks how to do their job, how to conduct their affairs, how to relate to their families, etc. etc. We have been dodging unsolicited advice and opinions from friends and family all our lives. We have heard "know-it-alls" and "Monday morning quarterbacks" pontificating in the break rooms at work about what play the coach SHOULD have called, how the PTA President SHOULD have handled the meeting, and how the Congress SHOULD have voted for the bill that SHOULD have been written.
Only now, with the proliferation of instantaneous and all-encompassing social media, those "expert" opinions can now be shared with the world. One can address the coach, the player, the President or the Congressional member directly in 144 characters. Once can slam them on a Facebook post that goes viral. The behavior is as old as time. The accessibility and reach is what has changed. It is important for folks to keep that in perspective.
