Here is today's update on HDD. Updated at 7:20 Pacific. 28 22 DNCE Cake By The Ocean Republic 1,101 749 47.0% 25 23 ADAM LAMBERT Another Lonely Night Warner Bros. 1,097 1,009 8.7% 29 24 DAYA Hide Away Artbeatz/RED 1,075 728 47.7% There is a chance DAYA could pass tomorrow, but not certain on that one. It will be close. Also, Demi is dropping pretty big but not sure if she will drop below these 3 by tomorrow, that will be close also. No recurrents here this week because Meghan and Elle are still above #10. So, ALN will be somewhere between 22-24 on Sunday's update. If Demi doesn't drop below by tomorrow, she will within the next few days & DAYA will probably pass. Then next Sunday we should have 3-4 songs disappearing: Demi, Gwen, Elle, Meghan (maybe.) If ALN keeps increasing, even by small amounts, it could make Top 20 on Feb 7th. If it goes into negatives, all bets are off. Seeing how fast it dropped on Top 40, makes me hesitant to make hard & fast predictions  Yup, agree on tomorrow's outcome - #23 at best but most probably #24. But I see no way in hell to get to Top 20 by Feb 7. That's because if I start with today's position of #23 as a starting point I see FOUR songs passing (DNCE, DAYA, 1D and Graham) and possibly FIVE dropping (Glynne and the 4 you mentioned) , so the next is #22 at best, and possibly staying at #23. Those single digit increases are just not good enough, plus the glaringly low AI as compared to the 4 songs below ... Hope he gets home in Feb. and works on the TOH MV, so they can launch it in April - May. |

The momentum last week was telling a different story but maybe what we are seeing are the big spin increases last week resulting in smaller ones this week? I guess we will know by this time next week which direction the tide is pulling this jellyfish |

We know this site with YT statistics for Adam: www.youtube.com/yt/artists/insights-artist.html?artist=%2Fm%2F07sbny7&artistName=Adam%2520LambertYou can check on this site which countries are doing the most streams and also which of his songs have the most streams. The period selected is 1 September 2014 until 28 January 2016. The US is his best country since I have seen this site with a total of 45.9 million streams, but Poland (now on 31.8 streams) is doing more streams than the US and is catching up. GT is his best song with almost 88 million streams with Runnin' a good second with 54 million streams. ALN so far has 11.3 million streams. Today I also noticed that you can filter by country when you click on the downward triangle in the right upper corner. This gave me some interesting stats. Of course I checked the Netherlands and apparently of those 88 million streams the Netherlands did almost 4.8 million. That is more than 5% of the total streams so Yeah for my country!  ALN is doing a lot less with just under 0.3 million which is 2.7% of total streams, but that was expected. After that I also checked out Poland and there the big shock came. See: Poland YT statisticsIt shows that Poland did the following streams: Ghost Town 17,082,018 which is 19.4% of total streams ALN 5,291,598 which is 46.7% of total streams This is crazy! Nothing above ALN is going away tonight, so #24 it will be for officials! I don't remember. Was it 24 last week? I think so. Good that it is at least maintaining. Will be a wait to get to 20 but it is still possible once the other songs go below even with the songs that will pass. Just needs to keep in the positive spin category. Looking forward to Adam being back in the country for a little while anyway. |
