Tatum - what is your Twitter name? I didn't see you under Tatum. ??? My name is the same on Twitter but it's 8toInfinity with a capital I. I don't tweet much though. :-/ I want to go on record as having the Infinity in my name BEFORE Adam had his tatoo. LOL. Just sayin' (not that I'm above putting Adam stuff in my "handle" - I'm a PROUD fan.) ;D

Neil hasn't done anything crazy. All relevant (or irrelevant, depending on your attitude) AI contestants have not been tweeting mentions of Adam. Can't talk about Sasha until later tonight. Susie Fierce did RT a great video of some guy going crazy in an office. That's all I got. |

Well, I think you are being a bit over-generous in calling it a four chord song. Technically that's true: A minor, G, F, and D minor are used at some point in the piece. However, about 80-90% of the song just sits on the A minor chord. It can hardly be called an Adam Lambert song, as his voice is so buried by the electronics and synths, and so modified and manipulated that it is almost unrecognizable. It's like using a piano virtuoso to play chopsticks. I don't go to dance clubs, so I don't know. Maybe this is the type of music that everyone raves about there. It could certainly get you moving. Gratefully, I think Adam has moved way past this in terms of making his own music. And, it seems he now realizes that what stands him apart from all other pop artists out there today is first and foremost, the voice. I don't see him relegating that to the background in the future. Plus, this is not the kind of thing that can really be performed live, since the voice is so manipulated. At least, that is my hope. Hahaha Cassie, well you read my right. I was being over generous because I didn't want to offend anyone because it is Adam after all, and I don't know much about music specs. SO glad you commented, because I didn't think there were many chords but surprised really stayed at one - but not surprised - no wonder it got monotonous by the end. The red part is funny and very descriptive and I agree - you said it well:-) I also agree he understands better about not overshadowing the vocals. More Ha, Ha. Cassie responded hours ago. I'd go for a guess of about 95% of the time using one chord. (Might be wrong.) As an assistant music guru (the lead guru is Cassie), I'd say that in very technical music terminology, the song is boring. |
