I see your point. And Neil was the one who blew the whole Planet fierce cover 8-) but Neil + Glam :-/. Anyway, "The Lambert Lizard " covers the both of them.  You are right - it should clearly be 'Furcifer Lambertoni' - what business does that guy have naming it after his kid? Doesn't he have a responsibility to both the chameleon and the world? What has the kid ever done for humanity? Is he sparkly? (Doubtful, IMO.) I'm petitioning for a change - an email can't hurt - other than maybe getting put on a watch list. I have had a full week of hearing from people at a conference do the obligatory thing about their kids. (Turns out there is no good way to say your 6 pics of your bald infant look like everybody else's. Please coo amongst yourselves over the baby Yodas.) ETA: Portmanteaux are so passe. I mean are we still saying 'talk to the hand'? Oh. NVM.  I'll sign that petition. Did anyone ever tell you you're kinda cute when you get all grumpy?  |

Lolling so hard. Finally caught up on the thread and well, what does one say - srysly? I had no idea that salami(s) had been the main topic of conversation when I posted the Zodiac pants pic.  I must be  Catz - Sorry about your troubles - esp new crazy person to deal with. How about some angel food cake - not as rich as apple pie but very sweet. Thanks mika  This is angel food cake too! I had to leave and I come back and what do I find..... different things to (cough) do with salami and bologna!!  Adam...p...p...please give us some news now!! I think we are in meltdown mode! I'll sign that petition. Did anyone ever tell you you're kinda cute when you get all grumpy? I'm sorry - it's the combination of powerpoint, no fun people at this conf. and excessive heat. The universe's way of saying time to pony up for resort trip! Hah. So many things can be solved through running away for a while w/new books. I'm single-handedly trying to help Barnes and Noble hang in there. |
