Ok - I think I wrote the survey query badly. The question is whether you think it would be better for Adam to emulate Gaga's or Adele's sales style based on RCAEd's decription of how they've historically sold. Not whether you like Gaga or Adele themselves. [goes back to fix survey question] Can I vote for both! An amazing opening week special that drives sales to between 500,000 and 1 ml. Then 3-4 singles that catch on and become so popular that his album sales end up over 2 mil! I LOVE the way you think, Mys*&@^#r!! why: Because I think Gaga or whomever that allows an album to be sold for 99 cents is just de-valuing music even more. I didn't purchase the album so perhaps if I really wanted it that would have been great. Problem is that then I would want all of her future albums to be 99 cents too. I understand the logic from the other side but doesn't do the non-Amazon vendors or other artists trying to maintain intellectual property value any favors.
In any event, I think vocals will win in the end.
