Actually Simon talked earlier on twitter about a celebratory party for his album success. I think it's much more likely that Adam threw him a party or picked up the tab or something, maybe because he couldn't be there to celebrate with him.

IKR!! "He can go right to Broadway!" : Gene is clueless! "Did you hear him sing? Did you hear him play his guitar, live?" ;D One of my favorite parts of the Idolatry interview! Love Paula's engraving on the necklace, "Adam, Dream Big" Did those look like dogtags? I probably already knew this but forgot, but did she give him the dogtags he has worn? |

Yeah, the dude whose entire career is based on costumes and theatrics has the nerves to tell him to go right to Broadway (not that it's a bad thing), but you know GS meant it as a backhanded compliment. Oh, I couldn't tell what was on the dog tags. I need to go back and watch. I walked away to get coffee since I couldn't hear what they're saying. |
